So what exactly happened to John’s podcast? I guess that was another project he could never finish.
John never does anything. He doesn't run his political campaigns, he just pretends to have them. He can't take care of his dogs, he lets them freeze to death in the deadly winters of New England, and when they die, despite his Twitter followers begging him to save his frozen dogs, he just lets them die and then blames GamerGate.

It should be no surprise he just completely abandons his podcast. It's not like he has anything to say. He can't really fill an hour or two just telling you over and over how many Porsches he has.

Figures. I bet his little friends must be bummed that they didn’t go viral like John most likely would have promised them.
I'm mildly curious about their whole arc(s)
like what corner of the internet were they inhabiting
how did John scout them
did they even try to keep going without John/did john say NO this is MY show

I did my 5 minutes of diligence but didn;t find much.
Mainly, I guess it's another (yet pretty timeframe compressed), model of John's incompetence and dilettante work ethic - so dissection along those lines would be a fun post-mortem

One thing I failed to track..when did he pull his DOLLCAST glowwire sign?

You never had gender dysphoria in the first place Kermit.

I need to tease apart the granular timeline but John was cross-promoting with the sign on non-dollcast shows
dc1.webp

and he had it for the disaster interview with Doctro Kokchop
dc2.webp

(John did promote that it was going to get posted on Dollcast...but after he didn't like the way it went, I think he shut down the whole show)

on the last Dollcast...he turned it off
dc3n.webp

given he had it consistently lit up for off-dollcast appearances I don't buy an "I forgot"

don't know much about the others
one I guess was a tiktoker, so I wouldn't know much abt tht

The other 2 seemed to have had failed youtube chans - 10ish or so vids , then g-g-g-gone

If the schizo likes the spiders crawling on his skin, he's no longer a schizo, he's cured!

Don't ask questions, its TROON SCIENCE!

Dumbass Wu confuses a condtion that you manage long term with a condition that you actually cure.

Not that he ever had the condition in the first place. Wu is a self id fetishistic troon who fits Blanchard's self loathing homo model perfectly.

He doesn't have anything interesting or credible to say, but he'll talk for hours anyway.

The reason his podcast died was because he was responsible for editing it. He bought a new laptop with PAC funds just for that purpose. There were at least two episodes that never got published because he was too lazy to edit them, evidenced by people on twitter asking when their episodes would be up.
He even created another Natalie that he could blame in case anyone called him out on it. Classic John.

Is there screenshots on that? (I have ZERO doubt, but you know troons and the internet - records are like penises to them, they like to disappear them and deny they ever existed)

I'mkind of curious abt the timeline. I get the impression that when things went south with his pussy plumber red table talk, it took the wind out of his lacy silky sails and he shut down the whole deal ragequit style

I'd guess we won't hear from the others, they'll be under Troon Sista Secrecy Pact...unless one of them insults the other's tits or skirt or something, then we'll get a 3 hour expose'

PLEASE John, tell one of em they have a pair of sloppy joes and are so poor they have a man-chin we wants the tea to spill girlfriends

The last episode was uploaded on January 21, and features Brad Polumbo.

This tweet mentions someone called profjmb, but I can't find an episode with this person:

Here's one featuring mattyglesias from Feb 3:

Then on Feb 16, they did an episode with AngelaBelcamino. Someone asks about the mattyglesias video. John claims he just hired an editor, implying these episodes will be published soon:

Then there's this one with Tyler Black, which John promised(!) would be coming out:

And yet none of these exist on youtube or any of the podcast providers. If I remember right, John was still asking people to go on the podcast at this point knowing full well it would be a giant waste of time.

What fascinated me about Dollcast is that he supposedly must have a lot of recorded, but they're just sitting around unedited. Didn't he start with episode three or four? I guess the first few episodes could've just been uninteresting, but I was at least looking forward (!) to Michael J Bailey's episode. Maybe John got ass-blasted in that one like he did in the Marcy Bowers one (which was amazing since John is possibly one of the few people who would make me root for mutilator Bowers).

It's even more surprising that John didn't just pay someone to edit them for him. We all know he feels he's above grunt work, which is why he never did any work on his game, delegating it to his pleb employees instead. Maybe he thought he could handle something as simple as dropping a few video recordings in a template, and that's why he didn't pay someone to do it for him, but apparently even something that basic was above his ability to do. Or maybe he's just really cheap and didn't want to spend any more than he had to on his latest vanity project.

Either way, pretty funny that yet another of his ventures has fallen completely by the wayside, and he will likely never bring it up again. Sucks for those trannies who agreed to participate for whatever reason, but hopefully they will now join the long list of people who will never work with John ever again. Keep burning those bridges, John!

I think the bigger issue is that it exposes him as not very popular and that breaks his illusion of being a "back channel influencer". His YouTube channel currently has 869 subscribers. The highest video is the one name-dropping Cenk Uygur with 4.9k views in the past seven months. Of course, you can argue that if you want to grow your channel, you just have to put in the hard work and they'll hopefully come, but it's hard to pretend he's some major big shot with less than 900 accounts willing to subscribe to him.

I think at least part of it is him getting a sore ego over not having a runaway success with his YouTube channel since he thinks everyone is fascinated over what he has to say. Same thing that made him drop his "career" as a game developer - he doesn't like working hard to actually become successful, he just thinks he can decide to do something and it'll just happen.

John has spent his entire life assuming people will find him just as smart, witty, insightful, and attractive as he finds himself when he should be thanking his lucky stars he found Frank.

You nailed it. If John does something and it's not immediately met with universal acclaim or gets him loads of attention, then he gets very bored and quickly dumps it for some other new "career". He's like a child with ADHD that constantly wants a new toy, has a temper tantrum until they get it, then dumps it on the ground and goes looking for a new toy within minutes.

The only reason that John even finished his Bratz game was because he very well couldn't position himself as a game developer if he didn't have at least one game published. IIRC, he was also legally obligated due to all the people who paid up front on Steam and not delivering would have gotten him in deep shit?

John is one of those not-like-other-troons troons. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are places online where such people gather to sneer at the other troons who don’t pass and can’t snag a DEFINITELY STRAIGHT partner.

Even if we call what John had “dysphoria” and not simply the natural feelings of inadequacy that arise from being a narcissistic junkie with arrested development in your thirties, he clearly still has it. Hence his addiction to hacking off bits of his skull and his need to make himself Queen of the Troons.

He claims that he DID hire someone. One of his favorite lies is that he has hired hundreds of people, when in reality it has been closer to 10. And no one who has worked for him has ever spoken positively about it. That's probably the top reason he didn't actually hire an editor for the podcast. He doesn't want anyone exposing his lie about being a fantastic leader. The other reasons are that he doesn't like spending money on anyone but himself, and by this point everyone knows he won't pay enough to put up with his shit.

For the game, he made Frank do a lot of the work because his paid staff bailed.

He also claimed to have hired Pxie, which never happened.

Haha, as if Kickstarters have any sort of legal obligation. You only need to look at Blowy Zoe's failed Chuck Tingle game to see that. All that happens if you fail to deliver on a crowdfunding campaign is the site will forbid you from starting another one until you do.

No, the only reason that John finally shat out Rev60 on Steam is because his backers, led by one HoskStation, started bugging him about it when they realized he had gone more or less radio silent over two years after the Kickstarter concluded. John didn't realize that he could just ignore them and pocket the cash (like Blowy Zoe did), and even if he did, his ego would never let him live it down. After a few months of threatening to take it up with Kickstarter (lol), John finally had Frank finish it up and release it to Steam, game-breaking bugs and all.
