: wordle is boring, the Family Circus is a zombie comic that was never funny, and I need something to do over morning coffee -- laughing at John's foolishness puts a nice shine on the beginning of the day
(of course, finding out that there are people that actually swallow his bullshit reminds me to not trust the judgement of the guy in oncoming traffic)

My fault for poor phrasing. My question is why does John think we are supposed to care about his latest trantrum.

When us normal folks take a break, we just do it. We don't make a grandiose announcment about it.

I'd be shocked if he makes it over 12 hours. I think if John really tried his hardest and used what little willpower he has, he could maybe go a day or two tops, but there's no way he can go a week. John is an addict, and Twitter has been his new drug of choice for years.

I sorta doubt it too but his ass did get pretty bruised up on that last one, so he may spend a day or so screaming FUCK! as he replays twitter in his head and petting the dogs a little too hard (not that he gives a shit abt that)

I think 2 days is fair.

I should also elaborate, the only reason I think there's a world Wu can go that long without Twitter is because he has something upcoming that he knows will make him unable to tweet. IIRC, he did this once before with a twitter break where he managed to last an entire day...only to then reveal it wasn't because of his incredible willpower, but because he was visiting the troon chopshop and was in surgery/drugged up and literally unable to tweet. I think there was also a smaller break that ended up being a flight down to Disney.

But he's also used it as a passive aggressive excuse a few times whenever he's butthurt about a bad take. I want to say he did it over moonrocks or something, only to then dramatically break his silence a few hours later, acting like he's some martyr who had to do it because the world would be a worse place without his generic twitter take he's failing to disguise as expert advice.

Honestly, it might be more interesting to bet between those two options. He's been posting a lot about going back to the butcher's, which was initially my first thought, but he's also gotten dunked on pretty hard lately, so running away to pretend he's above Twitter drama is a strong possibility

JT fired back about John
then John quipped it wasn't true and he should sue JT for defamation..it was just a sad doubledown attempt on the dunk after it was swatted away

John did set up a legal fund, it's even in his wiki article. So there's a basis.
It doesn't accuse John of anything illegal or anything that'd be per se
and the motive is opinion commentary
it's just John trying to be clever and failing, but I think JT is using it to wind Johnnie up - he's prob get some slapfight views out of it.

I did watch it and I think it's pretty funny that he gutpunches John by saying John has disappeared for years...I think he knows that'll irk "I'm famous now" John to no end
