Let's face facts (didn't someone say John used to be on car forums asking about driving manuals), he harps on it because it was a difficult accomplishment...for him. For most people it's just not - It's like learning to tie your shoes. Maybe when you haven't done it it seems scary and complicated, but then once that first week goes by it's a yawnfest and that's the tell

- someone who picked it up at an avg rate is going to relate that it's really nothing to be scared of (and hence,not proud of b/c it's not a big deal)

John, nobody can "primary politicians with weak commitment to climate" and "then get those politicians elected" whereas they can change their own personal behavior.

Further questions: how did these zero politicians who never got elected get the United States to lower its CO2 levels despite no serious policy changes? How would these zero politicians who were never elected alter the CO2 output of developing countries with U.S. legislation and regulations?

I honestly don't know what to say. So I asked a scientist, she said "mix a bucket of ammonium and bleach in the kitchen then pour it over the solar panels, the snow will slide right off for at least a week".

He ordered all the editions of all the books and is waiting for them to be delivered and take a picture of them on a dusty old shelf to prove he's an expert. He doesn't actually need to read them (except to maybe verify that they didn't use his likeness in the monster manual).

I think we can all appreciate how difficult it is for Brianna to reconcile his political position on climate change with his insane need to consume in order to prove his cool girl credentials. If having multiple cars and tons of electronic game systems isn't enough to hurt the environment, why even bother with solar panels?

By the way Brianna, 70 year old grandmas can drive a manual. They can also use their fine motor skills to knit, sew, garden, cook, clean, do laundry, iron, etc. Maybe they won't defeat you at Mortal Kombat, but their dresses won't be oddly-stained and wrinkled, and their collectible ceramics will be proudly displayed on hand-knitted doilies vs an inch of dust.

It's not surprising that Environmental Policy Expert John is too stupid to understand his own electric bill. None of his "electricity" is coming from Texas. But a lot of the natural gas that Massachusetts uses to generate electricity comes from Texas. This distinction is not a jesuitical subtlety.
