Oh, you mean cheats John!!!
Yeah you used to have to get the cheats from the publisher

*OR*
you'd have to "hack into" a warez BBS with walkthru filez
Man, those things had heavy security like a 7 to 10 digit "access code" you'd have to enter into the phone system to get the host to even connect so you could access suchheavilly classified documents

In John's defense, some of those shadow organizationBBSs were notoriously hard to connect to. They'd go comms dark for hours at a time...usually b/c the sysops dumb sister was hogging the phone talking to her boyfriend or mom said no computers til the geometry homework was done.
Some treacherous waters to swim indeed. Only the likes of the L33T Dixie Flatchest, John could safely navigate them.

I'm almost tempted to ween by sending photos of the Super Metroid guide I got by re-upping my subscription to Nintendo Power, just to see what kind of mental gymnastics he comes up with. He'll most likely just screech about mansplaining and block me.

I did. As I got older it became a thing where I only used Game Genie after beating the game. Used to have the game genie and book with all the NES codes.

Super Metroid is not a hard game and have never been considered a hard game. If he wanted to compare Dark Souls to something then he should have started flexing about women and named Roberta William's early King's Quest games instead. The "You died" prompt from DS should be modded into those.

Oh my god, she's actually going to do it. She's going to pay something like 30K bucks for what amounts to an 3 month test drive. Wu really has no concept at all of the value of money.

I know it's :optimistic: to think this way after all these years, but I'd love to think this was less "Ooohh, I should sell one while prices are high!" and more Frank screaming "Four fucking sports cars?! Lose one, John, or lose your meal ticket!"

What is the monthly outlay on something like this? Maintenance, insurance? Frank is well off but this is lunacy.
