A man-thing is guns and the battle raging over this slightly different approach to pro-choice and abortion is something women wants to control and outlaw. I think a lot of men on the democratic side, not necessarily politicians but voters, would be willing to compromise on gun control with the conservatives, going from certain people's hysterical "reeee ban them all!" to something more reasonable.

No, it's totally hilarious. Frank Wu actually had to work hard, go to class, study, for a decade to earn a well-deserved doctorate. And now he's emasculated regularly and in public by his lumbering fabulist Wendigo semi-husband. He's so numbed by the daily pain of his existence that he no longer can understand what it feels to be loved, the only feeling he now has is when he's parted from Brianna. It's loneliness, empty loneliness, and it's a void so strong that he begs for the torture to continue just to have something to take its place.
