I can't quite recall the details, but during the scampaign, wasn't John babbling some shit about rewiring the electrical outlets in his home or somesuch? My mouth waters at the thought of him taking a shot at that.
John is the modern day variant of King Midas, but instead of gold, everything he touches turns to pure shit. I bet there's a big pile of broken electronics and car parts in his back yard. Everything from iPhones he's fucked up, to windshield wiper blades he bent while trying to replace, to dilators that came apart after being field-modified. Somewhere, about three feet deep in the scrap heap are the remains of Crash, another casualty of John's ineptitude.

I recall that being brought up in the thread at the time, but he and Frank were also talking about buying a house somewhere around then as well. Not that I'd rule out John playing with someone else's wiring. Literally, or metaphorically.

It’s an interesting use for a calligraphy pen. Which makes me think he is just cut & pasting somebody else’s blog. Athouh why you would use this approach for automotive chips is beyond me? “It won’t look perfect.” Umm? 30 minutes work with some proper tools, such as an airbrush, and proper paint and finish and yes, yes it will look perfect.
(And yes this is part of an experiment on my part. The expected result is John will buy the most expensive airbrush to be found at Hobby Lobby, using Franks money, then attempt to paint the entire car with it. )
