In my most cynical moments, I sometimes think the lunacy over Trump is really nothing but a vast expression of narcissism: "I'm such a special person, obviously the President I hate and all his terrible minions are THE WORST EVER. Because I'm special and smart and good and wonderful, I MUST have the greatest enemy of all time."
Giggle-worthy proclamations like this don't exactly dissuade me from that line of thinking.

I think that's exactly right. This hysterical escalation of every single thing to the Worst Thing Ever makes these drama queens feel special. It's why they largely talk in terms of pop culture works that have Good and Evil baked into them. It's like taking on Darth Vader, but without all the work and risk.

That would be an unprecedented amount of money for Wu to donate to the fight against whatever it is that is plunging the world into darkness this time. Border Patrol agents typically use M4s or UMP40s. .223 isn't "high powered", it's "regular powered". As far as the UMP goes, it's literally a handgun round. A handful of BP agents have M14s but they're not the norm.
