That wouldn't be about Wu. I bet they're terrorified at what would happen if they got that squatch outside of shitty Vox articles and into the mainstream. Lynch didn't just ignore him because John wasn't a threat, it's because Brianna Wu has the potential to turn anything into a media shit show. The last thing any sensible Democrat wants is someone who says they represent the far left they're trying to court to end up on Tucker Carlson snarling and shitting himself, because then they have to support him.

And the ones who do run again didn't spend the entirety of their first campaign ignoring everyone around them, burning their few avenues of grassroot support, and pissing off the political influencers they speak with.

Upon further review, I may be totally wrong here.

Looking at other contested Democratic primaries with an incumbent in Massachusetts Congressional districts, I find that Lynch's numbers are not out of line with the averages over the past eight years. Joe Kennedy did better, but come on, it's Joe Kennedy. Richard Neal did about the same as Lynch.
