I thought maybe just this one time Brianna knew something I didn't, that PSU maybe means some Apple mobile specific thing and not the technobabble it looks like so I googled "PSU Wipe" and Apple.

Hey, some stuff showed up and...

Fucking hell they are quoting her idiotic tweet.
I noticed that too. Luckily it will just show more people what a moron she is.

A "bricked" device used to mean one that cannot be restored- only usable as a brick.

I thought Natalie was the one who kept her calendar, and she never knows what she's supposed to be doing until the last moment.
Not the worst lie she's ever told. I'm sure Brianna has no idea what she is doing, regardless of whether it's supposed to be something she's doing or when it's being done.

Somewhere, deep within the vaults of Apple's Q&A management departement, there's a guy scratching his head wondering just what the fuck a "PSU wipe" is supposed to be.

He's scratching his head, but then sees the name Brianna Wu next to the tweet and nods knowingly. "Nothing to worry about, Tim, it's just that moron Brianna."

Who the fuck calls their dog "they"? I always call mine he/his/boy.
And even when you are talking about a wild animal, you use "it": "That deer hurt its leg."

If you say "That deer hurt their leg" it sounds fucking weird because you are talking about it like a person. Brianna is trying to argue the opposite, that using a personal pronoun is somehow dehumanizing, because she is terrible at English and just looking for any possible way to move goalposts

So Wu basically made up that phrase, it's nothing but Wu-babble.

The second hit for "PSU wipe" is now this thread.

... and cause she has to constantly lecture everybody on everything cause she's the ultimate self-declared expert on anything. And also be on the moral highground.

In this instance, what she says isn't as important as whom she's talking to and in what relation she wants to be, ie: she wants to be the expert talking/lecturing to the insipid masses.

Cause noone has more profound knowledge or more moral highground than Wu.

I hope people who look up PSU wipe and Apple phones don't accidentally find this thread. They would hear all sorts of things about the person who invented the phrase PSU wipe while trying to sound smart about a dummy machine like an apple phone.

That would be terrible.

Wu's attempts at technobabble come off to tech people the same way I've always imagined WebMD idiots talking to their doctors.

10 bucks that this bug is literally a missing zero, or one zero too many where the QTEs are defined and Wu to stupid to find it.
Think it's more the manoeuvre (moving a finger in a circle) can be done by hand on an iPhone in under a second but on the PC version those QTEs are replaced by tapping but the taps are throttled in a way that makes that one impossible.

They never bothered to really test it or they used mouse input during that scene instead.
