She actually said "You can't tax CUT your way into prosperity," and uses that commie "fair share" which always just means "more," whether it's "I want my fair share" or "People I'm jealous of should pay their fair share."

San Jose and San Francisco are two drastically different cities. You can run in San Jose easily (except for the shit neighborhoods that don't have sidewalks for whatever stupid reason).

Honestly, you can go running in downtown SF too. Maybe not down the Embarcadero, but plenty of other places. It's a big city.

I can imagine John stumbling around autistically wandering in front of scooters, and then they see this towering ogre in a black minidress in front of them and nearly crash from recoiling in terror. When they recover and swerve around him, he screeches after them: "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AAAAAAM?"

If you nearly get hit by seven scooters, you are some kind of oblivious idiot completely unaware of your surroundings and need to lern 2 pedestrian.

Flynt/Wu is an urban warrior. He runs in the street, easily dodging the Porsches and BMWs that normal people drive, but he wants the impoverished vermin on their scooters out of his way. Don't they know who he is?

Yeah, in that case, ped traffic is much lighter, and scooters should be easy to avoid.

But we all know it didn’t happen anyway, so whatever.

I'm not a huge fan of Rudy "vote for me, 9/11" G. but his opinions are probably more well informed than anyone who reads... or at least cites... Teen Vogue.

Yes they are still together. There's a mountain of speculation out there but we will probably never know the truth as the Wus are deeply cagey about their personal life

Frank went through an extremely messy divorce from his first wife up to and including alleged domestic abuse.

The common theories for are some variation/combination of:

* He can't do better. He's still a weird manchild and John indulges that part of him while a gold digger may not-he doesn't make that much (~$150k/year) and has surprisingly little savings for someone of his age and income.

* Frank knows about John's incompetence and sordid personal past, and that gives him absolute leverage/control over him. His ex-wife has also described him as controlling in the extreme and alleges he has tried to keep her from getting into the science fiction writing scene.

* Fetish. Some of Frank's comments on John's now deleted LiveJournal give the impression that he enjoyed, if not got off to, the idea of transforming someone to that extent, and his artwork of John is also deeply messed up

There is also a "mutually assured destruction" aspect to a potential divorce: Frank and John know about each other's pasts, so neither could leave without both their reputations getting destroyed.
