After seeing some of the latest stuff, which is crazy even for Wu, I'm starting to wonder if Wu hasn't become a legitimate fanatic. As in, this isn't just about being a con artist hitching their star to SJWism, Wu has drunk the koolaid to the point of truly believing his own bullshit without any irony.

I don't doubt Wu is still in this because of some idiotic belief aping Sarkeesian is a good way to get money and asspats, but I'm starting to seriously believe Wu is legit crazy to some extent, given how much Wu has hit rock bottom and keeps digging even deeper even when most of the saner SJWs think Wu has lost it.

I don't think Wu has gotten "crazier", per se, it's just that she's become isolated. During the height of the GamerGate nonsense she was spewing this same bullshit, but at least she was part of a group effort doing the exact same thing so she could just blend into the crowd (to a degree). TransSamus, however, she started entirely on her own and is basically the only one supporting it. So she has to scream harder and louder, which makes her usual brand of crazy seem even crazier.

I'm not going to go all armchair psychologist on her, but it's obvious that Wu has some kind of untreated personality disorder. What's interesting about this particular point in time, though, is that she's desperate for something to funnel that crazy into. GG is dying, so she can't milk that. Releasing R60 on PC is a disaster waiting to happen, so she can't do that either. And she "foolishly" built her entire narrative around the purported fact that she's spent her entire life living as a woman, so she can't pull out the "I'm trans" card without exposing herself as a charlatan. She's reaching, plain and simple, for the next source of harassment to leech off of, but she's simply can't find a suitable candidate.

She created the "trans Samus" debate as the next potential goldmine, but that's backfired horribly especially where her Patreon is concerned. Simply put: she's not the victim, she's the instigator. So to circle back to my initial point: she seems crazier because she has to jump through more mental hoops to justify her aggressive introduction of this "issue".

I haven't found any proof that the house was sold the fund her rehab. What I do know is the timelines match up with that house being sold and Wu coming back to attend rehab in her home state, which could just mean her parents forced the issue by giving her no where to live.

Intriguing. I'll update accordingly.

UPDATE: Done. I added the new information. The SOCCON article is, for now, complete. That took about five hours.

I think Wu suffers from this.

Wu has always genuinely believed their spiel, which is why they'll never be as good a businessperson as Anita Sarkeesian, who is weapon's grade sociopath and understands exactly what she's doing.

I just realized something that i hadn't before. It may be nothing, but...

So, you know the name of the mysterious twitter-handling harassment-dealing-with employee?

Natalie O'Brien.

Remember when Wu got busted for never filing a harassment report, and blamed a recently-axed employee for the "mistake"? The official with the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office's who gave a statement to a reporter was....

Ron O'Brien.

Same spelling, even.

Now, I know this is probably a coincidence, I know that. Pretty common name, i guess. But...Wu's unoriginality has in the past led to reusing names from her various creative endeavors, even leading us to note that "Brea Anatamata" may be the origin of her first name, Crash (her previous pet) was a character in Soccon, etc. Someone speculated that "Brianna" was her alteration of "Brian", the name of a journalism student she liked. So Wu will, we know, take names from the world around her and repurpose them.

What I want to know is this:

What was the first instance of Wu mentioning "Natalie O'Brien" by name? Was it before or after Ron O'Brien released his statement? Just curious...

EDIT: Just checked the wiki; First incidence of Natalie O'Brien: May 15, 2015. I had thought that Ron's statement would be the first chance for Wu to have heard of him, but upon rereading about the issue, apparently Ron responded to the glut of concerned citizen phonecalls directed to him by Wu, who had written a piece claiming his office was doing nothing about her harassment. So I guess the real question is, did Wu have Ron O'Brien's name before May 15th? All of this takes place in a relatively condensed time frame, it seems...

...It was right before. And A MAZE magazine took down the article soonafter. The only article I could find that wasn't an archived link of Brianna's A MAZE article was Une Petite Peu reblogging it on May 06th.

The Mary Sue article covering Ron O'Brien went up May 20th.

Very curious. Very curious indeed.

Ditto. I edited after checking your details on the Natalie O'Brien piece.

Curiouser and curiouser.

So in a little weekend, Wu denegrated an entire civil rights movement to propel her narrative, blatantly stereotyped and patronized another group of people that honestly had nothing to do with the conversation to begin with (Asian males), insult her father for no good reason other than pitybux, weaved her web of lies in such a way that she is literally one wrong word short of torpedoing her last shred of SJW support, and is painfully unoriginal.

And to think this would've been avoided if she just fucking worked on Rev 60 quietly.

"As a software engineer, I don’t like broad, never-ending goals. I like to focus on smaller, attainable goals. In that vein, I’m ready to announce something. I am in the process of setting up a legal defense fund for women targeted by Gamergate.

One of the biggest ways Gamergate operates is character assassination. Well, we have laws protecting you against that. I’m not a lawyer, but the fund will pay lawyers to find cases on libel and defamation and prosecute them in civil court. These cases might be mine, or they might be other women targeted by Gamergate. It will be cases the legal team feels they can win.

Sadly, fighting back is all these bullies understand. I’m in the process of making sure the fund complies with our legal and tax structure. My suggestion to anyone in Gamergate is to think very carefully about saying something libelous or defamatory about the women you target.

If you are a lawyer that specializes in these kinds of cases, or you know one, please do not hesitate to email me at brianna@giantspacekat.com."

Right now we are finishing up R60 PC, finishing CC, and moving into what we're calling, "Project Gogo."

They are planning on releasing R60 in October 2015.

This is Cupcake Crisis. The graphics are just as bad as Rev60 (Minus the lighting) and they have the gall to call it "Professional".
