How many of Wu's precious little supporters are, you know... black? Or trans? Or gay or lesbians? Or any of that? Most of the people I see asspatting her on Twitter are a bunch of cis white males and cis white females.

From my reading of it, John is saying that the exclusion of women from tech is equivalent to the exclusion of Blacks from American society in the deep south, and his (probably irrelevant) use of an MLK quote suggests that he's talking about the height of the Civil Rights era when systematic, LAWFUL racism had reached its zenith.

If there are any news articles about a women and her family being beaten to death/burned alive for simply applying for a tech job, I would like to see it.
