Remember everyone, Crash died from a fairly treatable disease because Wu wouldn't get off her ass to take care of him because she was arguing on twitter for several days straight. And then she had the fucking balls to say that gamergate killed her dog by distracting her so she couldn't take care of him.
There's a lot of stupid shit Brianna's let get out to the internet, but this is the most unforgivable of the things she's done. I don't ever want this fact to die.

Whaat? I thought he just died of natural causes and she blamed Gamergate for it. Was the doggy neglected?
The dog died of distemper, which is something that can easily be vaccinated against. And when it was in the final stages of the disease THAT HER NEGLIGENCE CAUSED, sick and lonely and probably scared, what did Wu do?
She left it outside in the coldest part of winter. No love, no remorse. She just implicated GamerGate and moved on.

"Professional erasure"? What are you babbling about now, John?

You're both trannies and you're the one who hogged the attention, as usual.

What a bunch of empty drama.

"Don't give me all the credit" = "I don't want all of this to be pinned on my stupidity and ego alone."

I love how this is phrased. She can't just say anything positive like "Major kudos to Kadybat, who did most of the research for this article," but she phrases it so it sounds like Kadybat is being victimized.

And of course, it is done with some cryptic buzzwords like "professional erasure." What is that, like that one Arnie movie, Eraser? No, it means someone is getting overlooked.... SO JUST JUST SAY THEY'RE FUCKING GETTING OVERLOOKED YOU PRETENTIOUS DINGLEBERRY.

But yeah, got to agree with @Jackass RN , this reeks of Brianna casting blame on someone else since the thing is now an internet joke.

Fixed that for you.

If you haven't checked it out, I urge you to check out the Trans Samus Incident article on lolcow wiki. Everyone from Gamerghazi to prominent Anti-GGers like Izzy Galvarez, to trans activists to feminists, all calling Wu out on her shit.

Also, I noticed something today. In the last four days, Brianna Wu has lost about 20 patreon sponsors, and now is at exactly 620. Despite losing so many, someone keeps upping their pledges to keep Wu above the $3,000 mark. Every single time it's gone below $3,000, someone has contributed an extra bit to keep it juuuust above that magic $3,000 cutoff point. Not once has it gone below $3,000 for more than half an hour...

Curious, no?
Is It possible that Wu still gets shit from her parents?

Calling your own work a "popular and important piece" doesn't make you look like an asshole at all.

The last development we heard about with Johnny boy and his parents is that they excommunicated him, so it's unlikely. They've got plenty of good reasons to never talk with him again, the debt he still owes them, constantly flunking college, being a psychopath, etcetera.

Okay, but how are you going to immitate menstrual cramps? ._.

Yup. I believe at one point Wu even brough up that Crash was sick and dying outside, and the gamergaters she was arguing with were outright begging her to go get him inside to take care of him but she just kept up her bullshit while they were getting progressively more irritated at her refusal to go and do something for her dog.

Yeah, I know, I'm just throwing it out there because this continued support seems weird. Is it possible Wu pledges to her own Patreon?

I can't remember, but wasn't the IRS supposed to have gone an investigated Wu a long while back?

Actually, that makes me wonder what Wu's living expenses are. Since apparently her home address is now public information by some means or another from what I can tell - she was going on about it being doxed or something for months a while back - it should be possible to work out how much the Wu's should be paying to have basic utilities, food, etc.

The reason I bring this up is that as far as I can tell, Wu doesn't have a stream of steady income beyond the patreon and the microscopic returns on people who for whatever reason fork up $6 to buy the full version of her shitty game. And yet by my tally, without any stable income Wu has bought over the past few months:
* that stupid bike (IIRC she even crowed about it being entirely paid for with Patreon donations and the price tag was in the thousands of dollars)
* at least one Apple Watch (about $450 for each, I recall hearing she might even have two for some unknown reason)
* travel to at least a handful of cons (including PAX East even though she swore she wasn't going - I doubt Wu got reimbursed for travel and hotel expenses)
* potentially several AAA-publisher games at sticker price (IIRC she has MGSV and that is at minimum $60+)

Since I also doubt Frank's pulling in the thousands of dollars to allow his "beloved" to live in excess like this while bitching on Twitter 24/7, it's not making sense how Brianna is able to afford this lifestyle based on a declining patreon fund alone.

Agreed. It goes against Wu's professed "sex-positive" feminism to make them less sexy, as sex positive feminism is about empowered women expressing/emphasizing their femininity while still displaying their competency.

Nevertheless, every single Wu "creation" is a creepy, anorexic skeletal stick insect.

Frank has a stable, low-six-figure job with a big company. By all accounts, they don't pay rent on the house. It was Frank's maternal grandmother's home until she died. Now his aunt and uncle own it.

Add in the $3K per month in Patreon cash (probably tax-free, since it's donations), then they can easily afford the things you're describing.

Yeah, I know, I'm just throwing it out there because this continued support seems weird. Is it possible Wu pledges to her own Patreon?

Not just possible, it's probable. It's worth a few bucks to maintain appearances.

So at this point, BriBri really is a golddigger?

Actually Frank's job is most likely quite high paying (patent lawyer for big pharma), quite easily in the six figure range, but because R60 development was so costly and inefficient, Brianna said Frank had to burn through all his annual income plus his life savings in order to fund the project. Which is why they are living for free in a house owned by one of Frank's relatives in exchange for repairing the place. Once that sucker is remodeled and ready for sale, they are out of a place to stay.

Basically Brianna affords the lavish lifestyle by mortgaging the future to pay for her present. I highly doubt that at the end of the month, they have much left over to put towards a retirement fund. When Frank burns out and retires, they are going to be totally at the mercy of Frank's relatives. So Brianna probably has 15-20 years left to reconcile with her parents and get back into their good graces so she is included in their will and doesn't end up with empty pockets when her parents die.

Frank isn't a patent attorney. He's a patent agent.

Median salary for that is around $90K. It's Boston, Frank is experienced with a bio PhD, so he most likely makes at least $100K, probably more.

Monthly take-home on a $100K annual salary in Massachusetts is $6K. With Patreon cash (after taxes - h/t @Sarcastic Username) that's $8K. Even if they pay rent, market rate on their house is about $2.5K. They have an oldish Honda, so no car payment. No kids to feed or put money aside for college. Both of Frank's ex-wives are re-married and neither had children with Frank, so no alimony or child support. Neither Frank nor John has to financially support a blood relative.

Tldr - they have plenty of disposable income.

Also, I don't find it likely that either of them will get back in good graces with their immediate families.

John's fundamental financial risk is Frank leaving him. But since Frank is a complete loser and POS, that's not likely. Clearly he prefers the company of a mentally-challenged, physically-repulsive, loudmouthed, compulsively lying tranny to the terror of being alone the rest of his life. His chance of getting remarried to a sane, actual woman is nil - unless he resorted to the mail-order bride route.

Edit: There's also the risk of Frank dying. His mom was diabetic and died of a heart attack in her early 50s and Frank is 50 now. Given Frank's culinary habits and lack of exercise, he's in a high-risk category, though I'm confident John made him take out life insurance.

If I remember correctly the Wu's were given their house for free so with no rent to pay that leaves a lot of extras like I-toys, motorbikes and games.
