The truth is that Flynt has always effectively worshiped the ideal, oversexualized female form - this going all the way back to the original Soc. Uncon. strips as we've seen shows that's the highest priority of the designs, nothing else. Except scrotum hair and foreheads bald enough to rival Commander Boreale's bald beacon powers from WH40K (yes, the SPHESS MAHREENS guy, not only is he a usable character in the tabletop stuff but he legit has special powers for being so bald)

I'm new to her bullshit, but what fascinates me about all of this is that it's not even her hill. She just browsed tumblr and picked something at random to take on as a new source of outrage and pity. I don't think she gives a fuck about Samus or has any investment beyond the hope for ink and coin.

Oh, Wu has a giant hard-on for Samus. The character is pretty much the epitome of what Wu aspires to be: tall, attractive, powerful, and female. Frank even bought her that Zero Suit figurine where Samus is posing in a provocative manner.
If Samus was trans, then it would be the highlight of Wu's life. It would mean she was one with the Samus as ordained by
Edit: I just had a thought. Look at Holiday's design and tell me that Wu isn't trying to replicate Samus' physical appearance to some degree.

1. Brianna is fixated on Samus for one reason or another. I think she's drawn to the general idea of what Samus is (badass woman bounty hunter in space) and that Zero Suit look only helps since it plays to her women in form-fitting clothes fetish. Now that I think about it, Holiday in Rev60 is basically an expy of Samus only blander and way less likable. Considering that Holiday is (one of) Brianna's self-inserts, I think it's clear what is going on.
2. Brianna is desperate for anything that can make her a credible cultural icon so she can continue to do lectures, podcasts, conventions, or whatever and basically be paid to to talk about herself. It's her only real passion.
3. Wu feeds on any sort of attention, positive or negative. The negative attention from this article in particular is enough to fuel her cries of being oppressed for at least two more months.
Pure conjecture here, but I'm beginning to wonder if Wu feels conflicted with the idea of revealing her trans status. She knows it goes against everything she believes and has said in the past, but it would be a potential untapped well for oppression points and perhaps more stupid fluff pieces from her friends. However, the revelation would likely backfire and be something the parts of the SJW community that absolutely loathe her could use to finally excommunicate her sorry ass. If that Samus article had been a success, she could have used that as the foundation to build to the reveal.

How did I fucking miss this?! How does Flynt even bother to call himself a gamer if he's going to deny every single canonical depiction of Samus Aran? The entire article is basically just latching on to one Nintendo employee's opinion.
I just love how Flynt thought this was real at first, and then tries to backpedal when people point out it's fake.

No. DaWu will just use that as ammo if it turns out that "trolls are faking being companies." If people are really going to take advantage of the many failings of DaWu, then it needs to be done in a way that won't lend some kind of ammo to their bullshit.
