I've seen a few people say this, but I don't see the same resume. The one I read said he was at UMiss "Fall 1996-Summer 1998."

I think it's the text and shit quality making it look like "Fall 1998 - Summer 1998" or something. Easy enough mistake to make.

I've located ten "Socially Unconscious" strips in "The Purple and White" of Millsaps College. They are dated January 22, 1998 to October 19, 2000. The image files are in thumbnails in the spoiler.

According to his laughably bad "resume", John transferred to Millsaps in the Fall of 1998, so he published his first three strips in the Millsaps paper while he was still at Ole Miss.

I'll upload his articles and opinion pieces later.

His last name is highlighted in purple in some of them because the search function does that and I was too lazy to reload it without the highlighting for most of them.

The fact that he drew his man-self in short-shorts is frightening. If it reflects his real wardrobe at the time, I can only imagine how he must have looked walking around campus before his pre-Soylent weight loss.

Also, get a load of John Flynt's John Hancock.

Jesus Christ, that's CWC-tier handwriting. It's got all the hallmarks of a primary schooler's first attempts at cursive. And back then no one had PCs, laptops, or smartphones as an excuse for having bad handwriting in college. Except for big term papers and the like, you would have been using good old fashioned pen and pencil to take notes and write assignments: plenty of opportunity to improve your handwriting craft.

Dear god... I never thought it was possible, but Dobson's art is actually better than this.

Look at his handwriting in August 2002:

The illegibility could be the result of his oft-claimed mugging/stabbing/horror movie scene/UFO abduction/Bigfoot attack. Or drugs.

That's legit chicken scratching.

Also, and I'm theorizing here, could it be that somewhere between the first and last of these strips Zed posted, Wu entered weaboo-dom? The anime-influence is palpable. Look at Holiday flashing a peace sign and, compare to "john" and his potato-head. Also, as noted, even His self-portrait suffered an animakeover.

(Wu in short shorts?)

*shudder*

Regarding our sleuthing wu's College years, look at this:

http://www.inc.com/magazine/201504/...why-would-anyone-want-to-kill-brianna-wu.html

I know we've all seen this, and the accompanying Mister Ed-calibre Horse-Face photo, (whats up with her mouth?) but this bit actually says:

"At Ole Miss, Wu studied journalism and wrote for The Daily Mississippian, but she never graduated. She left school the first time to start her own video animation company, came back, and dropped out for good in 2001 after getting swept up in the excitement surrounding George W. Bush's election as president. Her parents were big donors, and they got her a ticket to an inaugural ball. That led to a stint working in Washington--long enough to become disillusioned with Republican politics as well as dangerously dependent on Ambien, a sleep aid. Her parents, in a final act of support, brought her home to Hattiesburg and paid for a bed at Pine Grove, where Tiger Woods would later be treated for sex addiction."

-Never Graduated
-Attempted return to school after Socially Inept, LLC went belly-up, failed at that too
-Kissed school goodbye forever in 2001
-"swept up in excitement" for W! Tell her fellow SJWs that!
-Parents ALSO paid wu's rehab, in addition to interest-free loans. Entitled? Yeah, you could say that.

Yup, as per the illustrious Wu resume, the ladyboy finishes what she starts.

Except when he doesn't.

edit: whoops! not "bought her a house" but "Brought her home". my bad.
