Okay, so here's what we've got so far:
1996-98: Studied at Ole Miss, dropped out for undisclosed reasons/transfered to Millsaps
98-01?: Studies/stirs up trouble at Millsaps, presumably dropping out to work for "Bush campaign"/try that animation studio bullshit. Outside of those editorials we can not be sure Flynt actually went here seeing as how he's not in any of the yearbooks...only thing we can be sure of is that Soc. Uncon. is now Flynt's obsession since he's plastering it EVERYWHERE with his name on it*.
01-03: Not clear - Animation studio goes tits up (it should be noted that the commonly cited amount squandered from the Flynt parentals by John is $200K, but in the resume the number is $150K - Smutley's suggestion that drugs are involved might answer that though), moves to DC only to get yanked back not too long after and I'm guessing shoved back to Ole Miss once more
03-06: Studying at Ole Miss again, this time for journalism or something (also not clear), possibly drops out again for the final time and ties cut with parents as IIRC this is around the time the mutation into Brianna Wu begins as "Brianna Flynt" speaks at some transgender thing at Ole Miss in 2006.
*This is where things get confusing. With this timeline, it makes more sense for Flynt's repeat stint at the Daily Mississippian to happen in the 2003-2006 block of time since we need to account for the year inbetween.
HOWEVER, based on the words I saw linking the text on the back of the resume to Soc. Uncon. (goddamn this feel like a mystery drama yet folks? lol), IIRC one of them was "THE BISHOP BEACON" as a location for a scene. We know Soc. Uncon. is supposed to be about college girls and it's a no brainer Flynt would use names of places on the Ole Miss Campus, but that's where it doesn't line up: the only thing "BISHOP BEACON" could possibly refer to on Ole Miss campus is Bishop Hall.
Guess where the Daily Mississippian is HQ'd.
But according to the resume by Flynt, he was only there for one semester. If he actually was at Ole Miss for 1996-1998, the only reason I can think of him not mentioning all but the last semester in a resume is if there was something he didn't want people asking about. Something that wouldn't look good for somebody like Flynt. Like...getting rejected by a newspaper repeatedly after a public temper tantrum, perhaps?

John's "company" was established on February 16, 1999, and was dissolved on August 26, 2002. His debt to his parents was three separate loans totaling $170,194.04 plus interest -- none of it paid.
He was living in DC at the time of applying for the dissolution.
Ownership was split as following:
Crazy Pre-Tranny: 70%
Sara E. Champagne: 20%
Stephen G. Phillips: 10%
