Oh my gosh, they're complaining about everyone assuming these video game characters are CISHETSHITLORDS within moments of accusing a trans person of being a CISHETSHITLORD, that's hilarious.
Like that one user said, you're not making videogames better, you're making trans people look bad.

Samus' original creator and designer are both still alive, should be easy enough to clear up if they cared to comment on it.

Which they almost certainly do not.
Good point, in all the shit-stirring Brianna's done she has forgotten a crucial difference between herself and these big names in the industry:
They actually have work to do because people actually care about their games.

PS:
All this bitching by nobodies about characters in games that aren't trans and never will be... It's too bad whining and crying on Twitter is easier than making a trans character for their own game/comic/whatever. I play my tiniest violin for them.

The author of the "Samus is trans" article is taking the debunking of her "article" rather well. And by "rather well" I mean "not at all."

Crazy tranny says: I don't care about canon, I don't care about auctorial intent, I demand queer representation and I will subvert and take away your spaces.

Wikipedia says: LOL no.

Incidentally, if that discussion on Wikipedia continues, the fact that the author basically admits the article is a pack of deliberate lies is pretty relevant to whether it's a "reliable source."

Wow, Samus was like the first female main character in a video game that I remember. I can remember the mind blow when she took of the suit at the end and you saw she was a woman. Now WuWu is saying that she must have been a man at some point cause she's so awesome. FEMINISM!

There's absolutely no evidence that was Wu.

Someone was doing a joke where "oh, Wu says it's true so it's true? Fine, I'm going to say that the editor was Wu, and that makes it true."

We believe far too much stuff here on flimsy evidence.

There still isn't enough evidence to say it was her, but I thought there was more than that going on. That person asserted there was some sort of IP match, at least coming out of the same city. Not that I totally believe this is the case but it seemed not to be a joke on their part.

I've been waiting for a time to use this... now is a good time as any.

It's time, then:

....they just disproved their own theory by saying they don't care about canon or anything. They just want to have established characters trans because.

What a meltdown.

And since when was Poison's status argued? The first thing I ever heard about that character is she has a dick. That's not contested at all

Poison is one of my favorite Trans characers, and why was described perfectly in Manly Guys Doing Manly Things:

Everything about this character is perfectly encapsulated in this one comic. The thing is, Captain Kadybat the Shithead left her waffle iron plugged in here, and in doing so, tipped her hand. She cares nothing about games, nothing about canon, nothing about anything - and everything about pissing people off because Cis People are the Devil, and there's no better way to do that in her eyes than by declaring characters something they aren't and demanding everyone go along with it.

Also, I regret to inform you all that my Doritos are now trans and claim to be Cheetos.

I actually reflected that in the Wiki article if you noticed (Wu lives in another state; the accusation pretty openly came from a troll).

Funny you mention that. Wu herself said the IP traces to the North/South Carolina area.

....Guess where Kadybat lives.

I'm not saying it's her - that'd be pretty goddamned convenient - but I am saying that's a hell of a coincidence.

The IP goes to Potwin, KS. (No idea why Wu was talking about Bel Air.)

There are IPv6 tunneling services that exist to encourage IPv6, so it *could* be Wu. But it could be anybody.

Would you use it to sperg about Nintendo characters instead of accomplishing anything?

EDIT: I love this one. According to John, you shouldn't speak about issues of a particular group if you don't belong to that group. (1) and (3) are opposites of each other. So which group are you appropriating, John?

My god, I can't handle this much mansplaining before I've even had my breakfast. Her activism is so... off-putting.

Jesus, she is nettled.

Because someone on the Wikipedia talk page arguing about these edits made the claim that the IP address was from Bel Air.

Let's just say I'm suspicious of the motivation of whoever made that claim.

I mean. . .Bel Air. Come on.

(Apparently, a lot of that autism was redacted from the page since last night.)

Siiiiiighhhh....

It's right there in the teaser for the article. They weren't protesting the kid taking gym, they were protesting the student using the female locker room. There's a big difference between the two.
