The husband of Frank's first wife is an engineer at Apple. Unlike John, or John's good buddy Glenn at Macworld, he's not a white male.

Frank and John are just jealous, because Frank's first ex married up and Frank married WAY down.

It must burn John that Frank's first ex is a successful woman with a graduate degree in hard science, actually codes, and lives out in the Bay Area with a great tech job and a husband who is on par with her. While John is just a loudmouth, talent-free, unemployed tranny married to a typical underachiever.

Everyone knows John would work at Apple HQ in a heartbeat. But since he's without background, talent, or productiveness, his favored course of action is feasting on a plate of sour grapes and proving why he's not cut out for success.

For someone in Brianna's social circles, calling out Apple must be the edgiest thing imaginable. The equivalent of a 12-year-old kid in the Bible Belt sneaking a listen to heavy metal albums with pitchfork-and-horns devils on the cover.

I found some choice quotes in the article.

The APA Task Force's review also doesn't include the latest research on violent video games, since the Task Force only examined studies published until mid-2013. A 2014 study led by Matthew Grizzard at the University at Buffalo indicated that practicing immoral behavior in a virtual environment — such as killing someone in a violent video game — could actually lead to an increase in prosocial behavior. Contrary to the APA Task Force's report, Grizzard's research found that players would become more sensitive to the moral codes they were violating in the game.

People get mad when they play competitive video games and presumably get killed or lose.

What a surprise. I will admit that Wu has a point. When I get mad at Halo or at League of Legends, I can be a salty motherfucker. However, I can safely say that this has not compelled me to send death threats to a tranny video game dev stalling out the Steam port of her mediocre iOS title, because just because I'm angry that some bitch is camping with the shotgun does not mean I want to kill black people and oppress women for the patriarchy.

Plus if they hired John Flynt, that graph showing the diversity at Apple would decrease by a quantum, since they'd have yet another white male working there.
