Ah, but you see, if she doesn't say anything, then the poor oppressed black people will be shouted down and ruthlessly killed by the evil and vindictive police!

... You know, as I'm typing this out, it just occurs to me how offensive this is both to the black people and the police.

I find it incredibly entertaining that people who don't live here feel the need to comment and get heavily involved in the remarkably complex issue that is Ferguson right now. The issues surrounding police action and race in St. Louis go back decades, and it's not the kind of argument where you're on one side or the other. People who don't know what they're talking about (like Bri-Bri) see this binary "black people vs police" war, and pick whatever side they think is right, which is a dangerous oversimplification of what's actually going on. It's a nebulous and complex problem involving class, stratification, race, law, and about a dozen other things, not a fucking "us vs them" issue.
TL;DR- Brianna, perhaps you should pick a simpler issue for your ridiculous SJW turf war? Thanks, sugar.
But that would require critical thinking! Wu doesn't do that!

Shame on wu for the "chemical weapons" bullshit. Tear gas and pepper spray is considered a chemical weapon and it gets used in crowd control a lot it's probably a lot better than rubber bullets and clubs. But holy fuck if you didn't know that and were already pretty pissed at the cops, that's the kind of shit that's going to make you feel like you have to go on the offensive and disregard your own safety for people you care about. SJWs are putting people in danger so they can maximize their drama per post. Even if next week everyone will know there weren't clouds of sarin floating through the streets of Ferguson.

Just wait for Andrew Dobson to get involved claiming the police are using Weapons Of Mass Destruction when they bring the water cannons out!

Since Brianna is talking about Bernie Sanders and #gamergate and #blacklivesmatter like she knows what she's talking about, let's see what her friends at Gawker Media have to say about the whole thing?

"This was remarkably dumb."

Without any sense of irony, they went on to say:
Some caveats up front: 1) “Black Lives Matter,” like “Occupy,” is not a formal group with strict membership requirements. It is a banner, an overarching cause, a general proclamation of a set of political beliefs that can be picked up by anyone who cares to invoke its name. The actions of a few people should not, therefore, be used to try to tarnish that entire cause. 2) There are already plenty of conspiracy theories circulating in lefty circles about the group of protesterswho disrupted the event, and their true motivations, and what they hoped to accomplish. I do not want to dive into a sea of unprovable suppositions, or overgeneralize about a broad cause. There have already been many tortured op-eds by progressives trying to painstakingly reconcile what happened. The fact is that this is not the first time that Bernie Sanders has been driven from the stage by Black Lives Matter protesters. I simply want to talk about the wisdom of doing this.

It is stupid, don’t do it.

Gawker loves to paint entire groups with whatever brush they want so long as they don't buck the trend they are currently hopping on top of. Haven't they said all of Reddit is nothing but MRA Racist Gamergate Misogynists? Yes they have, except when their own user base repeatedly calls them out on it until they have to drop the "well, not ALL Reddit..." caveat. The writer even says near the end of the piece "Many on the left find it hard to come out and say “this was stupid,” because they support both Bernie Sanders and the Black Lives Matter movement." They recognize that this was a stupid fucking thing to do, but still closed their article with a plea for protestors to harass people as long as they aren't democrats.

This is Brianna Wu in a nutshell. She's Gawker Media, with 50k twitter followers instead of 550k. She has to waffle just enough that she doesn't alienate everyone around her while still trying to repeat the party line. Wu is quick to jump on everyone who might say "Well, not ALL men" or "Well, not ALL gamers..." and try to bully them into shutting up. The difference is Nick Denton and his writers are savvy enough to troll well 90% of the time. Brianna fucks that up nearly every single time because of her hubris or her brain damage even as she tries to emulate them.

This is the only truthful article Gawker has ever posted.

It's pretty peculiar the "Black Lives Matter" shitheads attack Bernie Sanders in particular. Now, it could be just that they're both idiots (which they obviously are) and opportunistic, because if they pulled this shit with a heavy campaign like Hillary's, their fucking heads would be busted.

But it's really beginning to look like someone is putting them up to go after Sanders in particular. There's only one person who benefits from that, and it's notorious dirty campaigner Hillary.

Regardless, idiots like Wu are basically playing into this narrative that only benefits the mainstream candidate.

Of course, Wu loves corporations like Electronic Arts, which she has effusively praised, and is basically a wannabe corporate tool.

Wu desperately wants to help the outrage machine, but doesn't want to fuck it up like with those tweets I saved before he could burn the evidence.

Wu, with all the effort you've put into this, you could have made a competent game instead.

Instead, you're a self hating white person being a useful idiot for a radicalized race riot baiting movement.

Wu will pin ANYTHING on Gamergate.

The poster replying is a Gamergater who clearly thinks Wu's a POS.
Wait, so Gamergate is now behind racism? Flynt, you do realize that it's called Gamergate, right? Gaming? Where does race play into that?

John, thank you.

When I look to understand the complex plight of black Americans, particularly in urban Missouri, my source for guidance is a rich, racist, lazy, crazy white Republican male failure from Mississippi who had his dick chopped off, calls himself the "Godzilla of Feminists", tweets 24/7, and is a sloppy, inarticulate, unintelligent, compulsive liar.

Keep up the "good" "work", buddy.

This is what those in the SJW business call "Co-opting the struggle."

This is, according to them, one of the most harmful things you can do. Instead of retweeting something written by a prominent PoC regarding this subject, da Wu chooses to write their own thing. Something that has been written before.

If you're going to racebait, at least do it right.

Bitch thinks she owns slaves. "My people." She might as well say "my field niggers."

No wonder all her ex-employees hate her guts.
