Problem is, John Flynt regards women being awesome like he does his own sex change: a magic amulet to deflect criticism lest you be called sexist, which, if that hack applied the slightest amount of critical thinking, is even more sexist, because that assumes gender is little more than a cheap label you slap on someone, not something you build actual character around.

Put that way, it sounds as simplistic and sexist as Chris-Chan's own attitude. For Flynt, it's a magic token that allows you to be blatantly wrong and ignorant while claiming to be an expert on something you know nothing about, then scream "mansplaining" when someone says "hey, that's wrong."

Personally I find it kinda sad how they try to appeal to the "strong womyn" crowd by changing iconic male heroes to women. It would be far more fruitful if they created new, wholly develop female characters instead.

But yeah there would be tons of salt if they thought that an iconic female character was turned into a male one.
