And if that's why Flynt likes Mass Effect, he's a shallow bastard who still regards women as tokens instead of people.

Mass Effect made almost all of Shepard's actions awesome regardless of gender, and that was fine, because we got to have a badass protagonist of either gender, with the gender specific stuff reserved for (A) romance appropriate moments or (B) character development scenes where Shepard's gender changes the tone of the scene as opposed to her male counterpart.

Problem is, John Flynt regards women being awesome like he does his own sex change: a magic amulet to deflect criticism lest you be called sexist, which, if that hack applied the slightest amount of critical thinking, is even more sexist, because that assumes gender is little more than a cheap label you slap on someone, not something you build actual character around.

Antia Sarkeesian of all people said that shit, and Wu claims to be a defender of Anita and acts like the same sexist asshole Sarkessian accuses most men of being..........which strikes me as entirely appropriate.

It may also be worth noting that the only Bioware game the little fool ever references is Mass Effect, a series that (at least in my opinion) is far less complex from both a gameplay and lore perspective than the Dragon Age(I'm actually warming up to 2 now that I have some years behind it) games or even Jade Empire.

Edit: not to say that Mass Effect(barring the ending) or Jade Empire aren't really good games.

I'm pretty casual but when doom and fallout come out I will sit down and lose like an idiot until I can get used to the controls and pace of a modern game.
