Like I said - I've got serious questions regarding its authenticity. However, it would explain a fuck of a lot.
 
I can believe it - Wu would rather throw money at a problem instead of doing it themselves because they're lazy and entitled as fuck.

This is a person who is so fucking pathetic they tried to farm hate about themselves through a sockpuppet on the Steam Greenlight for R60.

Without checking to make sure they WERE in the sockpuppet and not, y'know, THEIR OWN DEV ACCOUNT.

She is arrogant and stupid. Not exactly the best combination for long-term planning.

We do have some evidence that Brianna isn't above paying for publicity (Rev60 Apple Store reviews, magazine interviews, etc.). However, until we get further confirmation, I will remain cautiously optimistic.

I have seen that screenshot many times and tbh I don't think she used her main account unintentionally. I think it was supposed to be - in Wu's mind - a "defiant" thread from her against her detractors. I think the subtitle ("8chan, Gamergate and Kotaku In Action: Knock yourselves out") kinda hints towards that since it makes the thread seem like a challenge from Brianna rather than a thread from someone unrelated. It's still the usual attention-whoring Brianna does to bait people into attacking her to play the victim but I don't think she mixed up the accounts.

I agree that Brianna is stupid though so it is possible that the invoice is legit.

And this is what a greedy person would do. "Pay them under the table? FUCK NO! Then I don't get to use it as a taxwriteoff/part of expenses for SpaceKat Decelopment, so I can keep some more of those sweet, sweet Patreon bucks!"

Normally you'd be right but after she discovered she made the thread from her gamedev account, she quickly deleted it and re-posted it minutes later, word for word, from a sock account. She really is that dumb.

edit: I can't find any corroborating evidence other than my booze addled brain so for the moment, consider this the ramblings of a drunk.
