That still pisses me the fuck off. Wu could have said they employed several women and cared about representing women in games. But oh no, that's not good enough, gotta lie about it like every other aspect of your life, eh?

Basically, remember when Ellen Pao essentially fucked everything up by shit-canning Victoria, a beloved mod on Reddit? In a rare moment of sanity, Ghazi stood with KotakuInAction in the RedditRevolt and essentially every subreddit worth a damn to protest the firing of a mod that Reddit literally did not work correctly without. Since 90% or so of Reddit's content is user-generated, subreddits going dark was a major case of users taking a stand against some horrid practices.

Yes - Ghazi was actually on the right side of something for a change.

Thing is, Wu had been kissing up to the Ellen Pao administration for some time, a situation not helped at all by the fact that Wu kept doing it even after Ghazi had protested the Victoria firing. Already chafing under Wu's leadership for some time (she lost the respect of a lot of people when Wu started banning people and deleting posts that dared question her ridiculous narrative during the Jace Incident), Wu's bullshit was finally enough for them to throw off the yoke of the appointed mods Wu had stationed on Ghazi (Maddie Meyers, most notably). Suffice to say, Wu tried to rein them in for revolting against her desires, and it went.... Well, not very well.

And then, MAGIC HAPPENED:

Within five hours it became apparent that Wu had been banned from Ghazi entirely.

If true, Wu is a total fucking idiot, since the freaking Twitter AV is just Grumpy Cat with one of Anita's shirts photoshopped over it. Not to mention, I've seen that parody account follow lots of prominent Gamergaters.

To be fair on Wu, I think she may be just fucking around by replying to the tweet. I feel like she's quoting some cartoon or movie with the whole die after 4 heartbeats deal. Feel free to spam me with optimistic ratings just in case she is in fact that retarded.

It really irks me that she claims to be a bold feminist who works hard to make changes in the world despite people threatening her life, while simultaneously being seemingly proud that she's a spineless coward who can't deal with anything and frequently silences people that challenge her viewpoints.

Apparently my ears hadn't bled enough, so I listened to this podcast she brags about...

Ye gods. The ego: telling ghazi she just wanted them to have more "adult conversations" and make the sort of "editorial decisions" she makes on her Twitter everyday. For reals. She literally can't turn off the ego.

It's enlightening, though: if anyone can sit thru her vocal ticks (anyone else notice she says "flustrated" like a 4-year old kid?) and constant stress sighing, *ahem* you get the rare opportunity to see Wu in full sperg, enshrined in a hugbox of two doofy asspattets who yes-man everything she says.

Instructive, if only as contrast from constant uber-defensiveness.

What a dork. I mean, I'm a geeky nerd and Vidya and Comix dork from waaaay back, but wow....every word out Wu's mouth is one of those unfunny failed jokes that make you cringe in embarrassed sympathy... but her two asspatters roar with laughter like she's Dave Chappelle. Bitch, it's fucking Twitter not the New York Times! The only "editorial decision" to be made is asking whether or not your statement is too inane or stupid to be shared with the world. Considering the frequency and quality of your tweets, I wouldn't be going on about anything that might demonstrate you having any self-control when it comes to social media.
