DOMESTIC ABUSE IS NOT A JOKE FRANK, GET HELP

-" I spent hundreds of hours removing this horrible wallpaper from the 40s. I had to wear a hazmat suit and a respirator to encapsulate asbestos in the basement"
(Poor Brianna! We sympathize; hazmat gear is required to sift through your twitter! But this was in response to a question about Giant Spayed Kat's funding....and what was the deal with the wallpaper? Pickle pattern?)

I don't know about Murrika but over here it's illegal to remove asbestos without a certification.

Edit: I missed the part where he said they "encapsulated" it. Sounds very iffy. If the "wrapping" is intact you can leave it, if broken you should remove it. I certainly wouldn't wanna live in a house where some layman has "repaired" the asbestos. He might wanna look into that, for realz.

"White people lack the lived experiences of black people."

Men lacked the lived experiences of women, male "feminist" John.

But it's okay for you to be racist?

Considering your lack of it, this is hypocrisy incarnate

Yeah Wu, you do

Big words coming from the gender version of fucking Rachel Dolezal.

Now we have proof Ryulong is Twitter buddies with Wu

(@Jaimas - Ryulong has shamelessly whiteknighted Wu, even back on Wikipedia when it was a clear COI, add it to Wu's article about having friends willing to whitewash his reputation.

You're too good to me sometimes. This is going right the fuck on the Wiki when time allows.

So never mind that Wu whined her ass off and got people banned about far less "harassment" (like Geth's comments). Never mind that she said far more offensive and stupid things than that joke, usually to attention-whore to raise her patreon cash amount and gain some SJW points.

Never mind all that, Troy Baker clearly had it coming.

"I think you're really overestimating the perspective you can have without lived experiences."

When did you get your first period, John?

Wu, correlation and causation are not always the same, especially with those statistics

Basically, shut up and accept I'm right

Ok, new rule: if you use the term "lived experience" in an argument, you can't sit at the adult table anymore. Every single time I've seen that phrase, it's an attempt to justify using subjective, anecdotal evidence to indicate a larger societal issue.
Sorry Wu, but the discrimination experienced by a single member of a minority group does not hold any form of statistical significance. See, data isn't biased. Data is data. Anyone, of any race, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, or nationality can assess data. You don't need to be black to understand data about the issues faced by the black community today. This concept of "lived experience or shut up" is an asinine attempt to shut out people who disagree with you without having to argue a point or support your claims.
In short, fuck your "lived experience", Johnboy. We'll comment and weigh in on whatever we please, and you don't get to hush us up just because your platform is composed entirely of baseless conjecture, snide dismissal of your opponents, and nebulous statements like "oh you just wouldn't get it..."
Bring actual data, not stories, or sit quietly while the adults talk.

This actually bugged me a bit, so I ended up using my joke Twitter account I use primarily for following lolcows and stuff and sent a little reply. Apparently Wu is under the impression that all of comedy is not about taking the piss out of people. Apparently we can't make fun of each other anymore due to some social perceptions or some engrained stereotypes because someone might take offense of it.

Because jokes are entirely ill-intentioned when they're making fun of someone.

Because people can't say things and obviously not mean what they say and make this intention clearly through wit and sarcasm.

Because you can't say anything mildly insulting in comedy anymore lest you make someone's little feelings get hurt.

Someone should seriously say, "But Brianna, why are you, a cis person, deciding if jokes are transphobic? I'm not saying it was okay, but I feel like you're speaking over trans voices." I am incredibly curious as to how she would respond to that. Probably just "My trans friend so-and-so didn't die so people could make offensive jokes about her!" *furiously reports for harassment*, but still...

John's been furiously fishing, but no one's biting.

Who the hell checks the level of empathy of a group by reading comments in a media site? Also, last time I checked, asking for empathy is a two way street,,,
