SPECIAL EDITION? WHAT?! : DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD /sneed

Still looks like shoddy, plastic shit. All that Wu reminds me is that her characters make anime hair look realistic in comparison.

I really love the win/win situations that lolcows give to us all the time.

If she doesn't ship soon, she's a liar and a shitty game developer (again!).
If she does ship soon, people rip her a new asshole when her game sucks and we get content.

I love life.

Give her a few minutes before she mentions how salty gamergaters and MRAs are because of this news.

I wonder if she actually updated people through Kickstarter or if she is taking the CWC route of assuming that everyone she needs to contact is reading her Twitter.

No and yes. I'll donate €20 to the local homeless charity if she updates the project in the next 2 days and actually provides a timescale for the Mac release. I'll just donate anyway if she doesn't, as it's nice to see money do something useful as opposed to fluffing the goose down pillows of a serial liar.

Edit: It's two days later and the only thing new on the Kickstarter is yet another patron asking for the updates that will never come. Would it really take so much effort to simply sign-in and give some kind of update to the people who gave her over $12,000? She might also explain why the SpaceKat website now doesn't even mention plans for a Mac release. Oh yeah, she's busy on Twitter.

Guess who anticipated that:

With the new Steam Refund system in place, I would gladly buy Rev 60 so I can give a detailed account of how shit it is before getting my money back.

I salute this platform for fighting the good fight. :semperfidelis: Keelah se'lai, you bastard you.

Cool I guess, seriously couldn't you be less mundane? Its almost as if LWu is talking through his followers through the comments of her original account...

I wonder if the special edition will manage to have round wheels on the motorcycle.

Oh my!

Jonny boys sure going to get worked up about all the Steam refunds. I'm quite sure a whole herd of people will buy then quickly return the game when it launches.

I look forward to the salt.

Well, they'll download it, make a copy, get a refund, then play the copy and skewer it.

If that's possible anyway...

Ask and you shall receive..... so painfully predictableeeee :story: Welp there goes the few clients that might have liked the game.

Unless you are fully redesigning the models, changing the designs on those horrendous clothes, and making the hair not look like it's from plastic Bratz dolls, it's STILL shit.

You can't polish a turd, Wu.

How many test animations has this game been through? I've lost count.

To once more paraphrase one of my favorite books on creation, Song of Spider-Man, Wu constantly acts like she's on the brink of an eleventh-hour breakthrough, when, in fact, it's well past midnight.

"They love to have loud, dumb and uninformed opinions"

Uh... look who's talking you cardboard cutout of a human being.

Ahem. Also, there's no mention of it not being in engine, I'm willing to bet she's lying.

"Oh it looks shit? Well... uh... it's... not in... *searches google* engine. Take that, gators!"

Man, if he chimps out like that over a critique of a single screenshot, the anal meltdown he's going to have when the full game is blasted is going to be AWESOME.

Calling it now. Steam is a huge conspiracy headed by GamerGate to oppress feminists and indie devs.

Oh god, if Rev 60 makes it on Steam, I would kill to see people like Jim Sterling or Total Biscuit literally haymaker the thing into oblivion. It would be marvelous. Not to mention that I'm fairly certain that Wu would probably think that trying to attribute their reviews as literal "harassment" and "suppression of feminism" and some other garbage might actually be a good thing, which would most likely be the literal Despair Event Horizon for Wu and her little crusade since PC Steam Reviewers, and imo especially those two reviewers both don't like taking shit from other people when it's unwarranted and are marvelous at digging up shit and doing takedowns.

LWu might be below their pay grade though.

Jim Sterling is known for basically taking any Indie developer out that blatantly abuses their power to censor critique and criticism, create hugboxes, and attempt to stifle any dissent of their games. I highly doubt that Wu could resist trying some shit to keep only positive reviews up on Revolution 60, and Jim would probably be pestered by his fanbase due to the infamy of Rev 60 alone even if he wasn't intrigued about playing it himself (and the man covers horrendous Early Access games where he phases through walls, so his standards for games are low enough).

But honestly I'm just optimistic in the thought of seeing Wu finally get her precious little game into the big leagues where all of the critics that cover Steam titles can rightfully tear it a new one.
