This is a little off-topic, but someone is kickstarting a documentary about gamergate called '#gamer', and you wouldn't believe who shows up in the first picture when you scroll down.

I looked at that Kickstarter, and they claim they will represent all sides.

If they keep their word, it might be worth funding.

Let's look into this a bit.

1. By all accounts, no major Gamergate supporter (Usher, Oliver, Sargon, etc) has yet been contacted by Chris Haines.
2. Chris Haines has had active conversations with Feminist Frequency, Brianna Wu, Mattie Brice, and many of the other usual suspects, as well as with opposition to the Sad Puppies.
3. Not that you'd know this if you looked at his recently-blanked and curiously evidence-free twitter. I swear, it's like the Antis forget that Archiving software exists.
4. Brianna Wu is involved. Brianna is more sane than many Antis, but as we saw earlier, cannot handle herself in a debate.
5. The opening video features Brianna prominently, with dramatic music, as Brianna Wu intones:

I think its core psychological motivation with the Gamergaters is that they feel the "Gamer" culture is under attack.

Their empathy is criminally low. They don't see me as a person. They don't see Zoe Quinn as a person.

To which I'll reply:

This is followed by, just as prominently: Zoe Quinn, who looks all in the world like she's living off a mixture of orange juice and cocaine, and nearly 2 minutes of covering how victimized she is by that mean ol' Gamergate. It lionizes her in the damned thing at the end as well, as she bitches about how "MY DREAMS ARE DEAD."
7. It repeatedly asks: HAS THE PURSUIT OF ETHICS BECOME A WITCH HUNT?
8. It cites more of the same whining mangina bitching about how the internet's gotten too mean.
9. Almost of the backers with multiple contributions also backed Indie Game: The Movie and/or GameLoading.
10. It cites GamerGhazi as a source.

Yeah, this is as likely to be a balanced portrayal as Ahuviya Harel is to die of natural causes.

Also, she always looks so sour... This is a pic taken for a magazine, and she doesn't look like she's wearing make-up? Or really toned down that it doesn't hide the fact that she has no lips... Is it odd that they never photoshopped a lot of the flyaways? Or the grumpy old age lines around her mouth?

I have noticed. I'm not sure who on earth did her plastic surgery, but the guy was a fucking butcher. It speaks volumes when the only decent photos of you are the ones where you hide as much of your face as possible.

They mentioned ethics in games journalism, which is more than most antis would dare do. So maybe by their own incredibly low standard they are being "balanced".
Unless they're waiting to reveal a ton of pro-GG people and give them equal screen time and no dodgy editing or confirmation bias, which I highly doubt, then this will just be another propaganda piece designed to feed their supporters.

Maybe we can organise a counter documentary. Something that is actually fair and honest. Have tumblr shitting bricks.

I'd say she pretty much permanently looks like... well you know when a kid might pull their lips in so it covers the teeth when impersonating some toothless old person (or was that just me?)

(S)he always looks so ugly. That picture is especially unflattering because Wu looks much older there. Also, does anyone else think Wu has a very punchable face? Like, not anyone you want to hurt out of malice, but you just don't like their face for some unexplainable reason and want to punch it?

Wu, this is why you suck at lying. You say shit that anyone with basic knowledge can disprove.

You could have been level 28 LESS THAN AN HOUR INTO LEVEL 20, Wu. That kind of level jump isn't impressing anyone, because as of House of Wolves, Blue Rarity gear gives you 25 light. One legendary armor piece and all the rest blues makes you level 29. It's ridiculously easy to get up to quality level now. Even the casualfags in Destiny are level 33-34. It's just more accessible in general.
