Random observation: I feel like a huge reason why Brianna cucks Frank so hard is that no matter what happens with R60 and the lecture tour circuit, Frank will always be the primary breadwinner, and that really grinds Brianna's gears.

He kind of asks for it. He's got the power to leave but he refuses to.

Without him Brianna looses her primary coder, breadwinner, supporter and her home (assuming their still living in Frank's brother's house). Frank could crush her but he chooses to stay around as her whipping boy. He's a masochist and if he wants to labour beneath Brianna's heel, so be it.

Tahaa, looks like the Commander wins yet again. :semperfidelis:

There is another aspect of that, which is that Wu almost 100% certainly has honest-to-god dysphoria. Like, seriously. Frank Wu and her have been married for years, her transitioning is well-documented, and we literally have all the information about it we need. Wu clearly went through a lot to go through her transitioning, and even her old classmates said she passed acceptably enough. And in that regard, she's fine not recognizing that part of her background. You will never see Wu call someone "Truscum" or engage any of Tumblr's usual malapropisms in regard to gender. Ever. The closest you will ever come is when she talks about privilege and inclusion and trans rights. And those are fine, even if Wu is heavy-handed and about as subtle as a tactical nuclear device. There's the prospect that she doesn't acknowledge it for the aforementioned TERF reasons, but Wu also belongs to a distinctly rare class in the Anti-GG community in which she's trans and has kept, by and large, that shit to herself. Compare her, for example, to any of the honest-to-god nutters in Anti-GG: Chloe Sagal, Sarah Nyberg, Sophia Banks, et al.

Brianna fucking never brings up her trans status to win an argument.

For the others? It's the fucking first thing they reach for if they get into an internet fight.

I genuinely feel like Wu's trans status is less important to the conversation than literally everything else about her. There are four areas, in particular, that the upcoming Wu article will focus upon:

1. Wu's willingness to actively provoke opposition in order to use it to claim how threatened she is.
This is exemplified in attempts to attack DICE Europe ltd (Gamerfruit Incident), obviously mis-represent games she's playing (FFVI, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse), and say shit she knows is inflammatory to provoke response.

2. Wu's willingness to manufacture outrage entirely out of whole cloth in order to portray herself as the greatest victim on the planet.
Exemplified by the Street Race Incident, PAX Threats, Wu claiming the SA threats were real ages after they were debunked, and her tendency to self-victimize.

3. Wu's Willingness to attack, threaten, and brigade her opposition, beyond any level of acceptability.
Sophia Banks (AKA Transexual Jay, AKA Gender-Swapped Geordie Tait) did not emerge from a vacuum. She emerged because Wu tried to get her opposition silenced on Twitter. Similarly, the various accusations Wu faces as an employer did not come, as we say, from nowhere. There is evidence that Wu shares a thread with Leigh Alexander in that she will go out of her way to ruin anyone that openly defies her, and if there is evidence of this out there, I will uncover it.

4. Wu being openly corrupt.
Wu didn't get her huge number of positive responses from Polygon and Kotaku and its userbase out of nowhere: She got them because she's in bed with them. Whether it's the iMore award she covets so, or the huge number of times she openly violated Steam's user agreement by up-voting her own game via sockpuppets on Steam Greenlight, to being allowed to edit her own user and gamepages due to SJW-friendly mods, Wu is openly, provably corrupt.

It should be noted that she did attack TB and accused him of transphobia because a shitty otherkin joke he made.

In any case, I agree with the notion that many people are focusing in her being Trans than the fact that he did a lot of shit in those years that also paint her as a shitty person.

...Did... Did Wu just claim Jews were winners of the privilege lottery?

I don't even.

So, I've been wondering. Why is it that everytime Wu talks about sexism in the industry, it's always about how men need to do something about it. It's like Wu thinks women are unable to do anything by themselves and need big strong men to do something about it. You'd think women would like to take a stand for themselves.
Of course Wu hardly knows anything about being a woman :tomgirl:

I think a chunk of that comes from her being trans. Her basis for comparison is man vs. woman", because that's the only way she knows how to frame it. She's had experience as both, and ultimately her arguments boil down to "When I was a guy, I wouldn't have done this!"

Contrasted with a normal female, who has no perspective on what it's like to be a man, and it becomes obvious. I've noticed the natal females tend to speak in broad brushes when it comes to behaviour from men they dislike. Wu nails it specifically, because in the past, Wu either did it, or understood the thought process behind it.

The other side effect of that is, lots of trannys get very, very, very locked deep into gender roles. Big Strong Men need to do it, because men are big and strong. If little femmy tranny me does something "big and strong" it erases my designation as a feminine thing.

That's a common thing with feminists/SJWs and I think there are a number of reasons for it.

First of all, it fits with the feminist/SJW belief that men are the powerful group in a society and in this case even more so in the gaming industry.

Second, many feminists/SJW follow the belief that in an argument the one with the most oppression points is right (i.e. their viewpoints are inherently of more value because of muh oppression). So ordering around and bitching at men is fine because they are oppressors but bitching at fellow women, not so much. Especially if it comes from someone who spend 30+ years or so as male, that might get some reactions.

Third, many SJWs just want to whine and bitch about those JERKS (or more often than not they just want to whine and bitch against someone and it is politically correct to whine and bitch about men).

Fourth, pointing out something that women could do themselves might be awkward when some feminists disagree (if a man or a non-feminist woman disagree, they are misogynists). I have seen, for example, some feminists being in favor of men paying the bill in dates because they like it and proclaiming that men who don't are cheap while other feminists are against it because it promotes patriarchy or whatever. Even though there are two conflicting opinions there, it's fine because they both bitch to men about it and put the onus on men to make the "right" move. If they tried to tell each other what to do, it would probably get ugly between the ones with different opinions.

Come on Brianna if you want to pretend you are doing a bad job about it, you NEED KiA because is the most close thing as a visible representation of GamerGate in your territory, you need them to put all the blame of your failures, without them you only have 8chan and we all know how bad ended the last time you tried to mess with them

Is very ironic that Brianna is getting his villain status now, here our dear president do the same the only difference is that he bought them first them put the blame for all his failure on them, normally saying that X website /newspaper has a campaign to smear his name

I know that trick banana is not going to work

It's not really #EndKotakuInAction2k15, Bri says in that Ghazi thread that she doesn't want KiA to be closed (even though she had a different opinion at the beginning of this year). Here's a great bit from the Ghazi thread:

Brianna Wu said:
I’ve thought about this a lot, and this is the most likely scenario where I think I could get murdered. A reader of KiA or 8chan has been hearing all day long what a terrible person I am, and frenzied by the mob, he shows up at my doxxed address with a gun and murders me and my family. Maybe he hasn’t even sent death threats. But the steady diet of hearing that I am the worst person on earth makes him feel he’s doing the world a favor in killing me.

Here's another great post:

But it's totally OK for your husband to do the same thing.

I feel really bad for Frank. He cant seem to marry a decent girl, or a girl at all. Think he should be looking foe a sweetheart to build from the ground up.

Don't feel too bad for him. He's essentially living in a hell of his own creation.

Wu's ALREADY been ran out of the transgender community on a rail. It's a pretty small group overall, and after getting chased out of Susan's Place (one of the larger trans communities) due to her annoying dramamongery, word about her spread quite quickly.

I think that's one reason she goes to great pains to disconnect herself and hide being trans. The second Brianna Wu the Game Dev got linked to Bri the insane forum mod who had to be fired to save a community, she'd lose all her "cred" as a victim. Sadly, the trans community isn't too big on making waves, so it never really got put out there.
Interesting, I naively thought Wu never referred to herself as trans because she cared more about being accepted as a woman than getting SJW points (And since she loves getting SJW points must have felt quite strongly about it).

As far as we can tell, Flynt has been this batshit crazy since at least the Ole Miss days, pre-trans status.

At some point, Frank Wu thought Brianna was worth marrying despite being a raving, psychopathic tranny who had nothing but a trail of failure called Socially Unconcious behind her.

I suspect it has been a marriage of what was initially convinience (because of Flynt's money at the time, though God only knows why Brianna married Frank - might be a dominance thing since in the wild it was observed Bri treats Frank like a stereotypical evil villain treats the underappreciated henchman who literally does everything for said villain) and now they're inexorably tied to each other for at least one strong reason that, should they divorce, would bring about ruin for one or both of them.
