These "wahh! All this violence hurts muh feels"-tweets really show how completely ignorant these people are when it comes to games and gaming, despite their claims about loving games, but just being held out by evil dudebro's.
1: "Why do games have to be so violent?!? Finally a non-violent alternative!"
You gotta be shitting me! If you want "family-friendly" games, get a WiiU that hardly has anything BUT games for the faint at heart. There is nothing revolutionary about a bloodless game released on the WiiU AT ALL. (It's a great console, but it seriously pisses me off that anybody looking for more "mature" has to either get aPS4, or be limited to CoD BLOPS2).
2: "why can't other shooters be like this? Kill lists are problematic!"
This is like asking why you can't ride a bicycle in a racing game, or make a fantasy RPGs without magic.
It comes with the genre, and while there is room for the odd exception, you're basically asking the whole genre to adapt to your wishes. It's a bit much to ask, since normal, healthy people can seperate their political/moral convictions from a fictional game.
Anybody advocating a dire need for violence-free FPS games, sounds like somebody who actually likes the genre, but is worried about being caught liking them by one of the moralist shit-flingers their camp is overflowing with.
I found this interesting BTW: Revolution 60 has reportedly won "numerous best of-awards" according to Bri's website.
I found this to be extremely dubious, unless it's refering to some asspat-transsexual game of the year-award or some shit like that.
But... The only actual link provided on the site is to iMore Best of 2014.

And sure enough... Revolution 60 won ios action game of the year. And it won fair and square and everything! Honest!
