Wu does seem the type of person who's ego is inflated enough that they would google themselves every few days. I don't know how much SEO has boosted this thread in the search result rankings, but at least within the top 50.

3. I think it's a reference to how you complained about lack of diversity of games, even though your game has zero lol

No Wu, you see, that it LITERALLY your job. You are a game designer, remember? Your job is to make games- show us exactly what can be done and prove yourself by creating new worlds, maybe an ideal game of your choice... because that is LITERALLY YOUR JOB. You're not under any contract to any big-name publisher, you don't have to answer to anyone but yourself. You have more ability than most people do to actually create the game they want to make....

...and instead you BITCH about it, you dense motherfucker.

Holy fuck, does she never tire of being hypocritical on this one issue?

What I find most intruiging about Wu is the blantent doublethink:

"The game needed to STAR the minority",
"13.5% of the population is white men",
the games technically are featuring a minority then.

I don't think you can say games are global when only ~3/7ths of the world have internet access. Plus these games are created in countries with large white populations, it makes sense that the games, like any other form of media, have a large white representation too. Not to say it would go amiss to have characters that aren't white, it's just an explanation for it.

Also, a lot of games have characters where sexuality isn't really mentioned, I don't speak SocJus but couldn't you make the argument that assuming they're straight is 'heteronormative'?

You've already put more thought into what you're talking about than Brianna does in months worth of Twitter whining.

On an unrelated note, what does Brianna think about Metal Gear Solid? Since that's a game made by Japanese people but has a cast full of Americans, Russians and Europeans. There are a few Japanese, Chinese and other ethnicities represented but the main cast is pretty white.

Good question, I wonder what she thinks of the torture scenes and Raiden's naked sideflips? Objectification?

She claims to be a huge a fan, but cursory look of her accounts show she's barely played them. I've heard that she makes Frank play games she's relatively bad at, which would follow, but I kind of wonder how she'd react to the Boss calling Naked Snake a faggot for wearing the Raikov mask.

For those people that asked if Detroit could possibly get any shittier, there you go.

Also, the DoJ will look into Gamergate, find pretty much everything to be above board, but be deflected on the SJWs, who will likely get hilariously buttfucked for fraud, paedophilia, tax evasion and bestiality.

So Wu only owns 1 game with a black protagonist?
How is that possible?
I just realized that she specifically said black instead of minority like she was complaining about earlier, probably to make the number sound low as possible. Otherwise she would not have forgotten a game like Sleeping Dogs.

1. "Plus size"

Sorry, but what is GSX? I looked it up but only found a cool motorcycle, but I don't think Suzuki make vidya. Did she mean GSC?
On another note, just because being overweight is common doesn't make it a good thing. You've been listening to the fat activists again, haven't you? Don't forget you used to be a bit of a chubby back in the day, John.

5. That happened.

I'm pretty sure Revolution 60 only has one fan: Brianna. Unless you count us, but I wouldn't call us "fans" of Brianna. Now allow me to present a hypothetical, dramatic re-enactment of Brianna's encounter with her fan.

Brianna: *Sitting in her seat, tweeting*
Man: *Sits down and settles in for a routine flight*
Brianna: *Wonders why this man is not giving her attention. Twitter is being slow too* I'm Brianna Wu.
Man: *Confused* O...Ok. I'm F-
Brianna: Ask me about what I do for a living.
Man: *Terrified by the melty-faced woman* What do you-
Brianna: I make video games. Yup, I'm an award winning developer despite having an entire online movement dedicated to destroying me personally. They just can't stand seeing a female developer being successful. That's why there are no others besides me and Zoe Quinn.
Man: Right...
Brianna: You've probably heard of my game Revolution 60? Its a ground breaking work of digital art. Do you know it?'
Man: Umm, sure. Whatever your say. Don't kill me.
Brianna: Thanks. I'm going to tweet about you so everyone knows you liked it.

If anything, I just adore how much Wu keeps mentioning anyone (real or or fake) who might give a shit about his game, because it exposes just how horribly insecure he is.

If you make something popular, your fanbase speaks for you. If you make something that isn't popular, you speak for the fanbase you'd like to have.

Even better, you take anything not immediately seen as insulting as a compliment, which is why Wu is too stupid to investigate the fanart from this thread and realize it was produced as mockery, not praise.

Honestly, I'm just waiting for Wu's Sonichu to wind up on Steam so it can be derided and pirated.

P.S. - Checked Steam, Rev 60 is nowhere to be found as an upcoming game or on Steam Greenlight, unless I missed an announcement no one told me about.

Yeah, seems about right. Everything about it oozes "I only made this game for myself(-insert)".

The worst thing about it is that I would still be okay with it if it matched up with the endless diatribes he spews.

He wants the game to be out next month. Yep. That sure is happening.

This is one possibility. Another could be the following:

Brianna: *settles in for a routine flight*
Man: Ask me how I am the greatest feminist ally ever, Wu-Sempai.
Brianna: *is terrified that this is a GG plot* How is it that you are the greatest...
Man: I have a ground-breaking progressive comic series called Alex ze Pirate and a progressive feminist humor strip starring a blue bear version of myself. I'm also the greatest fan of your video game "Revolution 60". I really like Holiday, she's a great feminist role model!! Do you think that in the sequel to R60 you could include in scence in which one can see her naked?
Brianna: *breaks out Mace*
Nookie Bear: AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

GSX refers to her "game developing" company, whose full name is Giant Space Kat. She couldn't call it GSK because Glaxosmithkline already owns it, so she substituted an X for the K.

Yeah, seems about right. Everything about it oozes "I only made this game for myself(-insert)".

Most certainly.

I mean I do get that a lot of people make things "for themselves" or what they want to see. Difference is there's usually some consideration for what other people want too.

Like, say, a game that has really aggressive bosses. Not without openings but they'd need to be earned and they wouldn't just stand around for several seconds for no reason. It's technically something I'd want to see, true but at the same time it'd have some consideration in that others would probably appreciate the challenge.

But when Wu or most of the "indie" "devs" do something, it's often easy to tell it's solely for them, usually because it's the video game equivalent of masturbation. For instance, Wu loves QTEs for whatever reason but she never considered that most people really don't.

It's like writing a story or drawing. By all means draw/write what you want to see/read, it's often more genuine and all that but also consider what they want to see/read since they're the people you're sharing it with or even expecting them to buy.
