Because most lolcows either lack a level of awareness needed to watch over a pet properly or are just so fucked up that they don't care. Wu might be both but she seems mostly like the latter. Let's not forget Frank would have to be just as guilty if the dog was neglected. I think her husband Frank is a bit of a lolcow too or at least such a pushover he may as well be one when paired with Brianna.

She also said it was canine meningitis. She also said that Gamergaters created a twitter account to mock her using the dog's name (which nobody knew but her) and a photograph of the dog that only Wu herself could have acquired. Suffice to say, the Crash poster got deleted in short order. Wu played the victim immediately, which, given Wu's history of self-victimhood, and criminal narcissism, speaks volumes.

Typical SJW piece portraying Brianna as this poor victim who is fighting against all odds and how she hasn't even paid herself a salary as CEO of Giant Spacecat, yadda yadda yadda. But three things did stand out for me:

1. Apparently her folks are good ol' Southern conservatives who sent her to rehab once. But they certainly don't mention in the article the $200k she got from them. They talk about it in the comments though.

2. She's living off Frank. Nothing says "Empowered and Independent Feminist" like being a housewife!

3. Someone is making a documentary about GamerGate. If Brianna Wu is giving out interviews, then we can safely assume that it's pro-Anti. Now I want to make a documentary and not like the clusterfuck that The Sarkeesian Effect is looking to become. Go fund my Patreon, shitlords.
