Going to sperg a little bit: Zimmer is a manufacturer of surgical implants - not just a distributor. "Inventory Logistics" should mean someone who actually is in control of warehouse management, not just someone who puts inventory away and such. I know, small differences that don't matter at all, but I thought it warranted clarification.

Zimmer has a corporate office in Warsaw Indiana, and distributorships all over the country to handle the local needs of their customers. Some of them are corporate owned, some privately, but they are all run local staff under the direction of an office manager who is underneath a distributor of some capacity - they have local sales reps, local billing personal (except for corporate owned stores) and local inventory and possibly drivers.

In my experience in this world, all offices pay local warehouse people shit. They work long hours, they get kicked around by the salesmen, and they aren't respected by the distributors unless they happen to be family by blood or marriage. The warehouse people have a main job of receiving inventory from shipping, putting it on the shelf, and finding some way to get it to the hospitals or to the reps. There's usually only one person in charge of warehouse management who is listed as a manager. In smaller offices they are the entire person and probably hold the job of inventory manager as well as warehouse. In larger ones, those are separate jobs and the warehouse may have 1 or 2 extra people to help getting product out the door.

Edit: I sound like I'm coming off harsh but I'm really not. I just think it strange someone doing warehouse work jumped over to software design halfway across the country. I LIKE the warehouse people I've worked with but they generally get kicked around and are the lowest on the totem. This is one of those things that took me by surprise and I have a little knowledge on.

This is the most blatant propaganda I've ever seen and I don't think that Wu is even aware of it.

It's not well made and lacks the charisma that most propaganda has.
Also she is blatantly ripping off HAL's design there.

Fifth Column sounds like they kick ass and they look like a bunch of bloody skeleton luchadors. Are we sure they aren't actually the good guys?

A reveal in DEAGLE'S FALL is that they're the corrupted remnants of Skeleton Company.

Note to Self: Make funnier/better propaganda posters.

My head-cannon is that chessboard and the fifth column are both the villians, the only difference is the fifth column does not pretend to do so under the pretense of liberty. The Chessboard AI controls the US Government behind the scenes and may or may not be behind a couple of attacks by the fifth column. Chessboard may or may not conduct false flag operations. They would surely not use the fifth column as a convenient scapegoat.

However, one day something...stupid happened. A teenage brat hacked into Chessboard corrupting it from going from Shodan level to being a sociopathic teenage brat. Hence its attitude when you meet it.

Considering head-cannon's and what Jaimas post, I may as well make my own head-cannon:
"The Fifth Column is actually the remnants of Tyce's Skeleton army after Stryker defeated Tyce in an event known as the "Arizona Insurrection". Though Tyce was slain, his Skeleton's still retained some form of power. Through the shadows, they managed to somehow take over China, renaming themselves the Fifth Column. Unlike Stryker's former friend/enemy now dead corpse that is Tyce, the Skeletons want to help earth though some of their methods weren't the best. This leads to the U.S. creating Chessboard after the accidental destruction U.S. bases in Eastern Asia via terrorist trying to claim ties with the Fifth Column. Eventually, after a few bad apples trying to do their own way, Chessboard became pragmatic, seeking to destroy the Fifth Column by any means necessary. However, Chessboard would be corrupted after a member of the U.S. military accidentally downloaded a virus-infected file involving "trannies". To compound it further, the Fifth Column's bad mistakes ended up creating an army of vat born soldiers whose intelligence was lowered than that of a Replicant from FEAR.

The only one that could stop these two forces would be Stryker though it means having to make an uneasy deal with a group known as K.F.

I remember reading this in the other thread. Chessboard agents pledge their allegiance to the AI and not the government and the AI itself works to defend freedom and not the US. So I'm pretty sure that it probably does a lot of shady stuff in the interest of preserving freedom that a reasonable government wouldn't.

Also it seems like a good idea to plaster your top secret agent's faces all over the propaganda. The enemy will never think to kill the faces of your military to crush morale.

They do. And you are talking cray-cray conspiracy stuff. We all know we can trust the AI.

Unless those agents are just the PR people who are given the illusion of being the top agents.

On another note, I have a feeling we are getting this topic steered off track. I think we should continue farther evaluation of this game in this thread: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/revolution-60-game-of-the-year-contender.6480/page-13

It's in the education history. She attended the same 1 year (or less) animation certificate course as Amanda Warner in 2010. She also did a BA of comp sci and psychology, graduating in 2003, so she had prior programming experience but it would've been pretty outdated.

I can't help but feel now that Chessboard has lost a lot of agents due to them being actually competent, going undercover and getting their cover blown by Wu Holiday whenever tiny petty shit comes up.

"Ugh, Mosley, you won't believe these apes, they're trying to mansplain to me and they won't believe we're with chessboard! Tell em we're chessboard agents, Mosley! Mosley?"

I'm having a real hard time believing this person lives on the same planet as the rest of us.
I remember one time, I was watching Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon with Kevinski and Mark, and we were at the scene with the Mongol raiders when Mark noticed something and shouted it to the rest of us.

"HOLY SHIT, IT'S A WHITE GUY!" Mark yelled.

Indeed, there was. An extra, in one of the backgrounds, was a caucasian dude.

"He must be lost." Was Kevinski's reply.

Good times.

I must ask, is she just too lazy to actually put effort into finding movies that aren't spoonfed to her by American media advertising because I have no problem finding movies that aren't about white guys. And what's with her obsession with the words dude and bro? Did John Flynt get bullied in high school or something?

To be fair, I wonder how many of these people bitching about the lack of female protagonists and shit in movies actually went out and saw The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo or some such in cinemas.

Because I'm betting not a lot of them did.

I've always been curious as to exactly who she's talking about when she says "men in the industry" and "men in tech" do certain things. Considering she's essentially the boss of her own dev studio she hasn't had to deal with many men (or women) in "tech" or "the industry". At least not in a professional capacity where she wasn't the one employing them. Considering she likes to talk about how Giant SpaceKat is almost totally women then it makes even less sense

Oh, okay. She just means random people on the internet she talks to. Damn dirty men just want to end conflict. Typical nerdbros.
Whenever I hear a radical feminist go on about how if women ruled all the countries, there's be no more wars, I laugh. Women start shit all the time. And not just with men. With other women, too. Especially with other women.
