Today, she launched a full-scale campaign to urge the DOJ to actually prosecute those threats. She spoke to Jezebel today about that initiative, and what she calls a "disappointing" meeting with the FBI.
Clark is the congresswoman for Brianna Wu, the Boston-based game developer who's been relentlessly trolled for months by Gamergaters. Clark's office, she says, has been "watching Gamergate unfold" for several months.

"We discovered this fall that Brianna was a constituent and reached out to her about what we could do," Clark said. "That led us eventually speaking with the FBI about how they're handling these cases."

Normally I don't pay attention to this shithead professional victim (because that's exactly what it wants) but I was driving to work this morning and heard an NPR interview with my local college's gender studies professor that Brianna Wu is going to do a public speaking event at the college I take night classes at. Supposedly, the topic is about women in the tech industry (and really, what the hell would John-Boy know about being a woman in any kind of industry?).

And no, as much as I love a good freakshow, I won't be attending.

EDIT: Also, I neglected to mention that Wu's appearance at my school is part of a series of lectures for "Women's History Month." Fucking :lol:

I'm sure she had fucking mountains of evidence to show to the FBI.

That's why she's been on twitter 24/7 interacting and baiting people with things like steam threads titled 'Brianna Is a Horrible Person Who Should Die': Not by Brianna Wu', right? I mean, surely she has some real evidence that this group had been targeting her with death threats for months.

Otherwise it would just be a wealthy white person wasting the government's time...Talk about privilege!

This guy has made a career of billing people for speaking engagements. Any attempt to convince his promoters that he's a fraud is met with accusations of racism. Even when Mark Dean was offered up as a good substitute (I've not once heard him mentioned during black history month when the subject of computers comes up)

This pisses me off so bad ED has an entire catalog of people who have gotten the short end of the dick from the internet and were never able to solicit a response from law enforcement. I had a bunch of guys fight me and try to rob me by an atm and the police wouldn't even take a police report let alone check the camera footage.
Wu?... send in the fucking FBI, send in the police and the army and everyone in my power send them!


EDIT: I spoke too soon. Last year I sent a few web pages complaints about Emegwali and pointed them in Mark's direction...

Well there's one thing guys like Chris don't have that Wu does:
Money and the insane privilege that comes with it. Of course that'll get a response. If Chrissy bitched the same thing to the same person he'd probably just be ignored and/or told to never contact them again. But Princess Wu makes a complaint? Send in the FBI! Send the army if you have to, these random internet nerds must be stopped!

Though I so hope that the only result is those like Sarah "Pedophilia is awesome!" Butts or Laurelai Bailey the confirmed rapist get arrested. That'd be wonderful.
