He did not have a game last year; he did not have a game the year before.
What did he went to PAX for?

I was wondering how long it would take before Mike and his history of pissing off Sjws got brought up by Wu

That's actually one of the things I was referring to when I said she could have found plenty of other reasons to pull out that aren't vague and possibly non-existent threats. Seems to me she never actually pulled out and just postured like she was going to. I would lol so hard if Mike pulled her credentials for it though.

EDIT: As noted above, it seems she's still doing panels, but the studio won't be there on the floor.

Wait, Wu's website is called Spacechannel6.com? Even though Wu's "Game Development Company" is called Giant Space Cat.. Wonder why she Chu-Chu-Chose to call it that?

Does John-Boy really think he embodies the beauty standard for women, minus the boobies? Of course he does!

Well she reckons she was there last year and the year before which was when the Gone Home devs pulled out of PAX. Perhaps she was concerned someone would point out that not attending after a year in which PA has been less controversial (AFAIK, correct me if I'm wrong) was silly and self promoting...

But then again, it is Wu..

*EDIT* Turns out It's 2015. Jesus I'm old

There is another piece of the puzzle which can't be overlooked.

John Flynt said:
I will need a sidekick, I realize. Someone to push in front of the laser beam James Bond style just before it hits me. Any takers?

The entire worlds population are disposable NPCs designed solely to defend Brianna.

It's funny how Wu behaves this way, and then goes on a rant about how the problem in gaming is that NPCs aren't written well enough to evoke an emotional response in players.

I wonder what the hell her vision of what a character has to do to evoke an emotional response even is.

Ah, what I was about to say. And here I thought the main reasons to have a sidekick were
-To not be alone, extra pair of eyes
-Possibly someone to bounce ideas off of
-Two sets of fists are better than one
and most likely
-In the event you die and/or become an old bastard who can't even keep your balance in the shower, you've still managed to teach someone else all you know so they can continue in your stead and maybe get a sidekick of their own to carry on smiting evildoers if they so choose.

To view what's basically a brother-in-arms, your closest ally, your confidant as nothing more than a meat-shield is more becoming of a supervillain

Nice job Wu, you made this guy

look like a more desirable role model. Probably less lazy too.

Well her idea of female Player Character empowerment was being able to mass murder 300,000 people living under a totalitarian regime in Mass Effect, so maybe something along those lines?
Shades of Golden Knight, right there. Also like Mr. Geis, Wu wants to be the hero without sacrifice. Note how she portrays her sidekick. That is literally a hair's breadth from his "anyone not me is a stepping stone to my glory" mentality.

I swear to christ, Wu is like the lolcow singularity.

She's got tenable references to the entire cow spectrum, from Vade (victim complex, constant self-victimization/milking of events), to Chris (completely certain that she is the most lovely and desirable woman on the planet), to Golden Knight (comes within a hair's breadth to calling people she dislikes "NPCs," likes feeling important with no effort), to Moleman (convinced her work is top-0f-the pile despite being essentially a zero-effort work in general), to protocows like Derek Smart (duh).

I didn't go into this thinking that Wu was going to be some kind of mega-cow, but here she is. What think you, Kiwis?

We still need to connect her to Holden, though.
