Why is half an emerald ring coming out of her face?

Oh. Oh wait, that's supposed to be an eye.

Oh... Oh dear.
She looks like some hybrid of a mutant and a cyclops. I know that drawing is old but really, it doesn't seem to have much difference from Holiday of Revolution 60. Both are equally terrible.

Given the sudden discovery of the link between SUP and R60 in two of the characters, I find it prudent to link back to Smutley's original post of this info that's been gathering dust for the past three months or so.

For those asking about ages and power words, Brianna Wu (AKA John Walker Flynt) appears to be somewhere between 32-35. This is based off a number of things:

In conclusion, I believe Brianna Wu is also John Walker Flynt, creator of failed animation/comic/radio drama Socially Unconscious and Election Eve, and that if she was 19-20 in 1999 when this company was founded, she would be somewhere between 32-35 years of age now.

Given that Holiday and Minnie are clearly lifted from this failed project wholesale - proportions, too! - and Wu's maintained asertion that R60 itself is more of an "interactive movie" or whatever in that the story and presentation (disregarding the fact they suck anyway) is more of the focus than the actual gameplay. Even the "60" seems to mesh up far too well, as just that one pic of "Alison Holiday" keeps referencing in her speech stuff about the 60's.

Reviewing the "casting" roles, it's kind of telling that ALL the male roles are either neutral or explicitly opposed to the females, half of whom are angsty lesbians including Holiday herself (not stated outright, but Holiday is obviously the main character and when another girl has "main love interest" as their only major role, it's fairly easy to safely assume such).

R60 is nothing more than a more "edgy" revision of "Socially Unconcious" just with the college beginnings droped and the whole thing becoming an unintentional mockery of 60's sci-fi and Charlie's Angels since Wu damn near worships the game as being totally serious. I honestly do think that if the game itself wasn't total shit and from the outset it has been parody, R60 might have done relatively decently.

But as it is...Wu stands behind R60 because it's the same shitty "franchise" that was the failed Socially Unconcious series. R60 a.k.a. "Socially Unoncious: THE NEXT GENERATION" is Wu's own Sonichu.

Which is also scary because, all things considered? John Walker Flynt a.k.a. "Brianna Wu" is in fact the "what if" scenario of Christian Weston Chandler in the theoretical situation of having actually attempted to achieve his goals.

I thought that was her nose!

"Go, Holiday! Go out and adventure to the extreme!"

"I will! Thank you, mother!"

I don't think the "interactive movie!" or "new gamers want story!" thing really works tho.
I mean... Phoenix Wright was pretty much nothing but story. And yeah, those weren't popular or anything right?

Yeah, what could possibly go wrong?

Wait, she posted that under her dev account by accident?

If that's not a smoking gun of sockpuppetry right there, I don't know what is.

Don't forget the dog (Crash), plus I think I may have discovered another link:

brea.jpg

From her character description:

7. BREA ANATAMATA (UPBEAT. BRILLIANT, BEAUTIFUL, FABULOUS, CAN’T GET A DATE.)

Brea Anatamata --> Brea Ana --> Brianna? What do you think? It this Wu's transona or am I just becoming Alex jones?

I'm more interested in who "Lauren Milovy" is, can't find anything on her that isn't just a name drop in things focused on Socially Unconcious/Brianna Wu connections.

Also, I just noticed Brea strangely has a middle initial of "P" in the background vertical placement of her name. And something vaguely resembling those weird-ass facial tattoos either Holiday or Unknown have.

Wait, how do the spacekat developers have the authority to issue Steam Community bans? Or are they getting Steam moderators to do it?

Supposedly she came up with Holiday's tattoo by drawing hearts over and over on a napkin and then thought it looked cool so she added that hot mess in the game. No idea if that's true since its Wu. She's contradicted herself quite a few times when it came to game production. She says the models all look the same due to iOS limitations but then later goes on about how the hair has more bones than the actual models. So apparently hair > character models in terms of priority.

You're shitting me, how incompetent at art do you have to BE for that to happen.

Phoenix Wright had the benefit for being a VN, as well as a small cult following from the GBA releases before it got a western release.

Rev60 is... well, it's honestly a great example of the problem with 'cinematicism' in games.

I've really crossed the Rubicon on not liking Wu.

First, shitty developer. Any dismissal of Wu's abject lack of skill as 'transphobia' is a dodge. Wu can't fucking hold Danni Bunten's jock! With her bullshit first gen X-box Spice Girls pseudo-game shovelware (M.U.L.E. will be awesome long after I'm dead).

Second, there's a clear pattern of Wu falling somewhere on the 'Exagerating / Manufacturing / Fabricating' with regards to their threats and detractors. You'd think one would want all this negativity to go away. Then something like this.

It doesn't matter. Wu is proving to be dishonest. This will be dismissed as a 'prank' or 'satire' or 'just trying to make light'. It's approaching conspiracy theory territory: All evidence for the claim is proof positive. All evidence against the claim is proof positive.

Oh, hey, another game Wu ripped off. We should keep a running tally:

* Mass Effect (dialogue trees, Holiday's outfit in Rev60, which is a palette-swap of Miranda Lawson's outfit)
* Parasite Eve (This faggotry)
* No One Lives Forever (I will be dead in the ground before I cede the belief that the gynoid character in Rev60 is based off Cate Archer)

Anyone else care to add to this list?

The ending is a rip off of Portal because it has a stupid song at the end about death.
