As for mentioning Final Fantasy Tactics on her tweet, one can't help but feel Homor could say something about that. As for hiring more women, that would be nice as long as they have the experience and ethics to be impartial but considering how games journalism is (along with how it's a joke), they are better off in other journalistic fields where journalism isn't really a joke.

Not actually true. When the DoJ actually does seize domains for this reason, they leave up a fairly distinctive banner advertising the fact. In this case, the hosting site instead broke the link to the site and declared it being due to "Child abuse." The company is named, I shit you not, internet.bs

ArsTechnica has the closest to objective coverage of the surrounding drama. It includes doxings, swattings, a DDoS-for-hire group, and assorted scoundrels.

8chan is still up at 8ch.net.

A board called /baphomet/ is where some of the core events took place. It is a hive of motherfuckery, so don't go be a lolcow yourself and kick a hornet's nest. Seriously. Not kidding.

/baphomet/ is more akin to /i/ than anything else. They're pretty much all about fucking with anyone they deem lolcows, raids, etc. If someone from GG had just gone up to them and been like "hey, harass these people", it would have backfired really fucking hard. But as we all know, that's not what happened. Baph gave exactly 0 fucks about gamergate drama until anti-gg got it in their head to plant CP on 8chan and obsessively try to get it taken down, DDoS it, etc. Anti-GG did what they do best and inserted themselves where they don't belong, and brought down consequences upon themselves that literally anyone except themselves could have easily predicted.

The best thing about it is them crawling to GG to stop baph, and everyone in GG just laughing at them. The initial resistance she put up to desexualizing her characterless shows she knows it's a bad move but she's backed herself into a corner with the allies she's chosen and the manner she's used to promote herself. They'll turn on her just as quick and she knows it. The only way these characters are going to look right is if she keeps them the way they were or replaces them with stockier athletic women which will be a ton of work. Otherwise it's just a bunch of out of shape women running around looking out of place.

So let's go over a brief damage report. We know Wu's in shit courtesy of lying to the cops, and that she's central to a burgeoning scandal involving patreon. We know that she's been involved in rote journalistic corruption for Revolution 60 (Idle note - @Smutley, did we ever get an explanation for that title?), and has gotten involved in an oppression-off with her fellow SJW assholes.

And that's just one month. Wu truly is a gold mine of comedic content. I hope she sticks around until the law gets her.

Well, last week drama resulted in stuff related of she lobbying patreon than being in control of patreon. I imagine, and I hope, that patreon initial willingness was a diplomatic approach given Wu stuff could be a potential PR nightmare... Thought their patience may run low.

I don't dislike Anita Serkesian that much but that tv apparence with Wu looked scummy given her recent dramas with other transexual developers. Some SJW were comparing them with Martin Luther King... Sigh
