Looks like Wu's old clique smell the blood in the water.

Why can't these people fit ideas into 140 characters? I can't tell if their incomprehensibility stems from this, or Twitter's threading, or if it's just the content of the messages.

You ever wonder what the fuck it is with these people and their complete and utter contempt for the law? It's not that hard to not fucking constantly violate it, but fucking none of Wu's friends seem to be able to fight their Eddie Haskell Syndrome (pathological inability to stay out of trouble).

They can't tell when a game sucks ass. How can they tell when they're breaking the law?

Forgive me I'm thick but does reading between the lines basically say Wu hired the botnet to fuck with 8chan with money moved through her Patreon? Because damn that's crazy.

I'm sure the people who started Patreon had noble intentions but there's a lot of shady stuff going on through the site and that's not even getting into the "crowdsourced wealthfare" criticism. Hopefully, they work on distancing themselves from this sort of bullshit in the future.

Wu literally thinks GamerGate is a WAR (lolwut) despite like I posted before, it's either just a movement (or a boycott) trying to promote ethics in video game journalism, exposing SJW influences in video games and against censorship in the video game industry (if you're pro-GG) or just a pointless misogynistic movement (or a hate group) filled with neckbeards with some of the insane members harassing women in the video game industry (if you're anti-GG). Still, even with these definitions, thinking that GamerGate is a WAR is fucking retarded.

And hey, for this WAR according to Wu, apparently the antis have won because of Intel managed to encourage diversity (which is what they are fighting for), but funnily enough by this logic the pros have won as well because they managed to get Hatred back to Steam Greenlight as the game was once removed due to censorship and criticised for being violent (which is what pro-GGs are fighting for).

Time to let it go! (But it doesn't matter, I'll still tweet about GG anyway and relate it to irrelevant stuff too because I need GG!)

State law varies substantially. Some permit you to do things like amend your birth cert. and based on that legally function as a woman. Others hold you to your genetic sex for legal purposes.

An interesting case is In re Estate of Gardiner. A trans woman had married a man in Kansas after amending her Wisconsin birth certificate, and they lived in Kansas. The husband died in Kansas without leaving a will, and his estate (most if not all of which was in Kansas) was probated in the Kansas courts. The law in Wisconsin treated your sex based on your birth certificate for pretty much all purposes (therefore, the marriage was not a same-sex marriage, which was still illegal in Wisconsin at the time). Kansas, however, held that the marriage was invalid under its laws because its test was not based on the birth certificate (which it would have been required to give full faith and credit) but the person's genetic sex. Since the marriage was invalid under Kansas law, Gardiner's widow was not entitled to any share of the deceased's estate, and it all went to his estranged son.

EDIT: I got the state of marriage wrong. Had the marriage been in Wisconsin, it likely would have been afforded full faith and credit by Kansas.

Practical considerations, however, would dictate that imprisonment would be in protective custody or segregation just to avoid lawsuits. Inmates are litigious creatures. Put Wu in a women's prison, the other prisoners will see a chance to sue.

They could be trying the wikileaks method where if you just promptly release important details into an already frenzied topic it gets overshadowed so they hype it up. Of course they could also just be petty internet gossips with minor news that they're looking to exploit for followers on twitter.

Yeah, for instance; the leaked "email" seems to be all but outright saying something really, really damming went down while Wu was at college but without further info all we can speculate is that it's OPL grade hatred towards the parking ticket equivalent of Mary Lee Walsh that only Wu gives a shit about, or perhaps it's a controversy she wants buried to the core of the Earth for only the most damning of reasons imaginable that would potentially even destroy the anti-GG/SJW movement from within. Sure, those are radically opposite ends of a spectrum, but all we know is something happened she doesn't want known.

(My bet is that it's going to turn out she stole the idea for Revolution60 all along)
