Well before, I'm pretty sure that was the case, but with the new rules (which Zoe Quinn may or may not have been responsible for in an effort to get 8chan's patreon taken down), I believe you HAVE to be producing some form of content, but I'm not sure. I guess she could just shit out some half-assed piece of wank every now and then just to keep her dosh coming in, but I do wonder how long those people are willing to fund her.

It will be interesting to see how this all turns out, because it seems like the only funding Wu's gotten so far is from her parents. Now she has to produce content for her patrons, and taking over three years to make a shitty mobile game isn't going to cut it. Perhaps this will be an eye-opening experience for "fans" willing to throw money at her, but that depends on what kind of people are funding her. I doubt that any of them have actually played R60 and instead are just giving her money because it's their way of "sticking it" to GamerGate.

I'd imagine working for Wu must be hard, but I very much doubt they get paid 13k a month.

Maybe someone should take a leaf out of Hotwheels' book and donate the excess funds to charity.
