She had videos of her and her husband playing with the dog on YouTube.Has it been confirmed that she even had a dog in the first place? Call me a cynic but the whole "Gamergate literally killed my dog you guiz" thing strikes me as another sympathy/attention ploy.
Brianna Wu is scrub at Statistic Souls. Git Gud, Faggot.

One would think of getting more attention along with hoping said loss would hurt your enemies/targets in some way. That's my guess at it.I definitely believe that Brianna had a dog that she loved and he died, and as someone who adores her own dog, I sympathize greatly. But at the same time, if my dog became sick and died, I really don't think I'd be spending my time lashing out at people who upset me online. Losing a dog is hard enough, why do you want to add internet drama on top of it?
So, Wu's game basically takes a good game, strips it of all the entertaining stuff, rebuilds it around an extreme ideology, and markets it to a segment of the population that agrees with said ideology.
Isn't that the same principle behind those "Christian" NES games from the 90s?
You're doing it wrong: you're supposed to tyyppp llke thsssi..>>Implying WIMMINS are bad at math! Cishet shitlords like you are reason that wimmins are underrepresented in the tech industry! You disgust me so much I'm LITERALLY SHAKING right now!
why do you want to add internet drama on top of it?
That became fascinating in a hurry. Wu's dog posting goes public, and she's dropped like a microphone at a privilege-checking seminar.Moar Wu tweets

She even posted on the article comments, and she did receive some support:

one of them was a doom mod for the SNES, super noah's ark 3dTo be fair, the Wisdom Tree games were reskinned versions of the older Color Dreams games: which were total crap to begin with.
If Wu claims to be a feminist, then why did she take her husband's last name? That's one of the cardinal sins of PATRIARCHY!!! right there.
That was not an image I needed. The jig is up, Wu! We know that you're not really a feminist, otherwise you wouldn't have taken on a Name of the Penis. Your feminist card and professional victim license have been revoked until further notice. NEXT!
(also I'm picturing this taking place in like a creepy senate room filled with feminist posters and "male tears" memorabilia, haha)
Perhaps she took Wu to show people that she isn't supporting some racist system that wouldn't allow her to take a non-white surname? Of course, one would have to do mental gymnastics because either one would be called out by some group, one being denounced as patriarchy, the other as racist. If Wu claims to be a feminist, then why did she take her husband's last name? Also plausible is that her husband isn't Asian at all and both took the name "Wu" to "sound Asian" or something.Perhaps she took Wu to show people that she isn't supporting some racist system that wouldn't allow her to take a non-white surname?
