What's with these people and trying to remove words from the language because they don't like it?
That's 1984-tier of language police

Isn't "PC Master Race" a joke title? I know I first heard it on Zero Punctuation, and Yahtzee is not exactly known for never exaggerating anything. Does she really think people are setting themselves up as PC-gaming ubermenschen?

I've only heard people use it purely in jest. I have no idea what she's going on about with it.

Is it bad if I thought it meant "political correctness master race" as in referring to trans people?

That said, thatsforubama (and anyone else interested in chiming in, really), what are your thoughts on Wu's ongoing "If you say anything to point out my ignorance, you are mansplaining" thing? I happen to be of the belief that it's making her seem even more hilariously ignorant than I originally thought possible, but there's several people who think it's indicative of a larger issue she might have.

I think that she actually realizes that this whole "you're mansplaining me!!!1" shtick looks awful to anyone who isn't already drinking SJW Kool-Aid. For example, take a look at her interview with Pakman. As far as I can recall, she never accused him to tyring to mainsplain her during that interview. She did accuse Pakman of victim blaming when he told her that law enforcement agencies usually tell victims of death threats not to publicize those threats, but she made no mention of mansplaining or otherwise trying to claim that Pakman was being condescending to her due to being a woman.

Likewise, I can't remember Brianna crying about mainsplaining during her Huffpost debate with HotWheelz and Erik Kain, although to be fair I only skimmed that debate rather than watching it in full. Long story short, my verdict is that Wu knows that trying to shut down debate with accusation of mainsplaining will make her look bad to mainstream audiences, so she does it only on twitter where she will recieve heaps of praise from her acolytes for striking a blow at the patriarchy, and everyone not towing the party line can be done away with a stroke of a banhammer.

She thinks some joke refers to Nazi's. For those wondering, "PC Master Race" was made by console owners as a way of insulting PC owners. PC owners embraced the title. It's has little if none to do with Nazism outside of making one think the words "master race" refers to Nazi's.

As I recall, that term of mockery emerged specifically due to developers doing lackluster PC ports (see also: From Software, Swery 65, and especially Ubisoft).

There are those who are quite obnoxious about it but it doesn't necessarily mean they embrace or downplay the Holocaust.

So, Wu's game basically takes a good game, strips it of all the entertaining stuff, rebuilds it around an extreme ideology, and markets it to a segment of the population that agrees with said ideology.

Isn't that the same principle behind those "Christian" NES games from the 90s?

topkek. Freebsdgirl is the fool that created the GGAutoblock list that banned such notable harassers as KFC and IGDA members. Of course I completely trust whatever research she must have done on millions upon millions of tweets to be completely accurate. That's why no research or evidence has been shown because it's unneeded.
It's also provably false:

* Gamergate tweets with Quinn/Quinnspiracy make up such a small percentage that my calculator can barely calculate it
* Brianna Wu posts involving Gamergate amount to about half of one percent of all GG Tweets
* Randi Harper posts involving Gamergate amount to about one half of what Brianna Wu's do

Brianna Wu is scrub at Statistic Souls. Git Gud, Faggot.

Praise the Sun!
