No wonder Wu gets skewed results. Wu emulates Windows instead of running it natively, so system requirements are always misinterpreted by Wu.
Boot camp isn't emulation, it's just a suite to install drivers and dual-boot windows. It's actually running it natively.

I would have thought that Brianna "Blender and GameMaker are toys" Wu would be running some $15,000 custom PC rig paid for by Patreon. I wouldn't have imagined they'd be running a 2009 Mac.

How lazy do you have to be to just use your ingame models and toss some text over the top of them and call it a comic that you actually charge for..?

Does anyone else mentally draw a cock whenever they see one of Brianna's characters with their perpetually open mouths?

Strictly speaking, that's true, it's much like Wine for Linux. Unfortunately, it's still giving Flynt skewed data since it only supports certain versions of Windows and is constrained by Boot Camp's own limitations on what Mac software it can emulate natively to interface well with it.

A purely Windows based OS on Windows based hardware would provide a much better testing ground since Wu wouldn't have to worry about the limitations of Boot Camp possibly affecting the gathered playtesting data.

Given the fact Wu's pondering upgrading to prefit for an oculus rift, you'd think they could instead spend that money on a cheapish windows box to playtest their damn game on...

No, it's not like WINE at all. It's a fully native version of Windows. There's no emulation layer or binaries.

There's a lot you can criticize for, including not being able to comment on system specifications across a range of systems but there's nothing technically wrong with using a Mac for this sort of purpose.

Real female soldiers don't bitch at each other like highschool prom queens while hot lead is whizzing around their heads.

Just some more antidote to John Flynt's fetishized, insectoid-proportioned, anti-female depictions of female combatants:

Female soldiers of the IDF

But I suppose these women are "sand niggers" to John Flynt.

Point noted, though it still has limitations hardware wise due to Bootcamp's limitations, and thus I seriously doubt Oculus is going to run worth a damn or be supported well at all, especially at this stage.

Holy shit her characters are just so irritating. They constantly spout stupid catchphrases, they're always at each other's throats, and they generally just seem like bitches. I'd much rather have a game where you play as the guards (who seem to be decked out in official affliction uniforms) hunting them down. They at least seem to have some actual purpose and share some sense of comradery.

In the time it took Wu to try and port it, I created a (admittedly pretty shit) little 2D platformer game in Unity complete with lore, 20 levels, enemies, etc. And that was with a lot of procrastination and browsing the interwebs.
I am interested in an easy time waster.

Through Boot Camp? Then you'll need even MORE power since you're emulating it.

Christ, he might as well just put a brand new PC together.

I wonder whether making the baddies evul azns is a semi-subconscious attempt by Brianna to further humiliate her husband?

If I want to watch video game soldiers bitching at each other, I'll just watch the Achievement Hunters play Call of Duty or something.
