Wu thinks, that changing a number in an XML-File counts as "leet haxxor skills". If this is what she considers as a smart workaround, Rev60 will be released somewhere around 2060. In the time it took to port Rev60 to steam, whole classes of students could have been trained from the ground up to create a better game than Rev60.

Isn't this something you should know way, WAY ahead of time?
Just a hunch on my end, but if i were required to release a game and have a deadline I'd like to know how long it takes to actually be buyable once all the files hit Steam...
Just me?
In the time it took Wu to try and port it, I created a (admittedly pretty shit) little 2D platformer game in Unity complete with lore, 20 levels, enemies, etc. And that was with a lot of procrastination and browsing the interwebs.Wu thinks, that changing a number in an XML-File counts as "leet haxxor skills". I browsed a bookstore yesterday where they had a big table of SW merch, and lo and behold the first figure on top was Rey.Per my friend who is REALLY into Star Wars: "Rey comes with BB8, it's by FAR the most popular figure, I've been trying to find one for weeks but nobody can keep them in stock."

This is on the same level of "hacking" as someone figuring out your Facebook password.
While Liefeld's art looks unrealistic to the point of absurdity, there is at least some awesomeness to it. R60 on the other hand is just pathetic. The characters don't even have individuality, it's three times the same body model dressed in different outfits and with different hair on top. Showroom dummies photoshopped into a bland scifi environment.Geez, Holiday's waist is hardly bigger than her neck. Rob Liefeld would be proud.
No, it shouldn't, but based on how well the mobile version didn't run (I experienced it on an iPhone 4, and it was constantly falling below 30 FPS), I would expect it to still be a complete mess. I'm not exactly sure what Brianna did to the Unreal Engine, but for performance I compare it to Infinity Blade which ran fine on my phone (and looked/sounded/controlled massively better), whereas Revolution 60 did not.I'm no PC gamer or much of a spec guy at all but should a cell phone game really require "mid-level" machine?
For some reason I blame Joss Wheadon for this kind writing even it probably isn't his fault.![]()

This game would probably be somewhat redeemable if it uses the sound effects from the Adam West Batman tv show. Are we not going to talk about how amazing those sound effects are?

I feel like the best use for the R60 IP would be to make a game that parodies stereotypical scifi and action cartoons or comics. This game would probably be somewhat redeemable if it uses the sound effects from the Adam West Batman tv show.
