I'm probably wrong, but this guy seems kinda awesome, in an autistic sort of way.

Or maybe seeing so many god-tier lolcows has lowered my standards, who knows?

Anyway, on the post linked earlier John said 'I have a gorgeous game I'm about to ship' - most of the things in that sentence are wrong. There's probably some other problem that'll pop up and conveniently delay the shipping or something.

Reminds me, does he have any plans for anything to make after this whole Rev 60 debacle ends?

There is no projects because john doesnt have morons to do the work this time,one thing is porting and another thing is making something from scratch, if you want a example, john already announced his next game that god awful thing with the pancakes now is "sikrit projekt" yeah right

Also john doesnt mention his next game because he knows that Steam is going to destroy him , he is counting on it so he can get rid of it the "game dev" label and get the "speaker of womens problems in tech" one, thats why he wroted that open letter and twitted about how bad is going to be

Just imagine john talking in a forum with "i was a women in tech but evil misoginistic men (and gamergate) destroyed my career thats why i dont do games anymore" then he began to talk about shit no one care, perfect bait for patreon money

She's spun a number of stories about what the next big thing she's doing is, but they've all hinged on a venture capitalist giving her several million dollars. She's been "in the process of raising venture capital" for about a year and half yet, and if she were anywhere close to succeeding she certainly wouldn't have debased herself by begging for patreonbucks on twitter.

I suspect the next step is Amanda Warner getting sick of her shit and quitting followed by a long period of Wu pretending to still be in business.

He acts weird because he's an admitted autistic. He's an exceptionally polite and careful debater because he's self-aware. Cut the guy a little slack.

Virtually anyone who bothers to actually interact with wu in any manner other than an amusing one liner is wasting their time... it's a lot of people still.

I think she's confused on definitions here.
Wu is hanging around Conner's level in terms of subtlety, but she is remarkably passive-aggressive (this tweet being a good example). These are two different things, Bri. Subtlety is the ability to say much by saying little. Passive-aggressiveness is the ability to be a little bit of a dick when you lack the balls to just openly insult someone.
For example, when someone is being a cunt, you might just level with them and say something like "Drink a pint of Drano and shit out your life, you filthy cock monkey". Or, if you're some spoiled trust fund kid who fears conflict, you could say something like "I think you need to reevaluate the preconceived notions that cause you to have this attitude towards me".
Say what you will about the whole "sand n*ggers" episode, but I'd say it's preferable to this catty armchair philosopher shit.
