Feel free to peruse how John normally talks about Totalbiscuit - on a day John is not executing a pre-planned PR campaign.

She's both too aggravating and too obscure for most anyone else to give a shit about. She's mentioned on Reddit every once in a while but ither than that she's pretty under the radar for most other people to watch.

You'd be correct. GG generally doesn't give a fuck about John nowadays unless something REALLY stupid happens.
 
After seeing Wu's Patreon continue to fluctuate, I can see what Wu is doing.

He's regrouping.

He's starting to slide into irrelevance to the point, as was stated above, most of GG doesn't give a shit, and Wu fears that the most, since Wu made his "career" agitating that. Hence all this outrage shit.

Wu, despite all this shit he says, he wants enemies. It gives him an easy way to play the professional victim card, and the fact he's trying so hard right now should be cause to laugh, not get infuriated.

He's scared no one gives a shit about Johnny anymore, so he's trying to get the spotlight back on himself, and if it means false flags and trying to get the GG spergs to get pissed again, so be it so long as he gets attention.

P.S. - While ignoring the BS of someone like Quinn and Sarkeesian might be bad because they actually can have more influence than Wu, ignoring Wu is the most damning curse one could ever put on the fool.

Notable article- I have not seen this posted yet. Cites data analysis of GG inconstant with AGG claims, and that media bias is the cause of GG getting a bad rap. Brings up Samus Aran and Boston mag using Jace Prius video months after it was revealed as a hoax. Well written IMO. I don't take a particular stance on GG, because I think journalist integrity is dead, period. I like PC gaming, and the only harassment it ever caused me is ten yos talking smack in CoD.

I have a horrible feeling we're going to see a few more of these in the future as despicable, scumbags try to cash in TB's popularity and schmooze in on his fan base. We're also going to get a lot of "TB's cancer is bad, but..." kind of articles by the antis. I'll save my rage then.

Even in the event that Wu is possibly faking her support to get asspats, I don't particularly see anything wrong with her retweeting and showing "support" to Total Biscuit. Like he said, he has, at best, a three year life expectancy (although he's fighting to survive this). In the event that she's faking it, well... great. We've successfully trolled her into being a decent person and showing support, if even only surface deep, to a guy dying of cancer. Hell, if she wanted to stir up Anti-GG cred she probably would've taken some sort of quip against TB since that would've fucking rolled in the controversy train.

Just saying. I think accusing Wu of being scummy for retweeting a terminal cancer patient's tweet is, well... I dunno, doesn't fit. At best, she's actually genuinely supportive (which is unlikely, but still possible as I want to believe everyone is possible of empathy), and at worst, we've managed to delude her into being a decent person for once.

It's a mic. It'd be kind of odd to use that type of mic for an interview as opposed to a basic lapel mic though. I dunno, maybe she's winding around the hallways with that on telling everyone how her "keynote" is the best keynote she's ever keynoted.
 
One more observation/catty comment: perhaps someone with a receding hairline shouldn't be wearing their hair in a ponytail?
