Speculating wildly here: Assuming Wu is or was a heavy smoker, it could actually be both. Smokers have a tendency to develop deep vein thrombosis, the operation can be performed by insertions through the knee.

It's a difficult task to find images of Brianna where she actually looks happy and content.

Spoiler: but they do exist

It may be hard to believe at first, but Brianna IS physically able to move the corners of her mouth upwards.

So we have here, in order:
1) Wu's bizarre, closed-eye conversational tick....does he think it makes him seem, "deep"? Strong possibility, I think, because I've noticed Wu affects gesticulations that suggest sage, wise, miyagi-like founts of knowledge: walking across stage with fingers steepled is one of the most egregiously obvious offenders, but many of the facial subtleties during interviews, too. So much artifice...Actually, I think this explains Wu more than I realized:

What I wanted to know, then, was why wu still has such an axe to grind in the realm of vidja, since he doesn't need proxies for his feminine fantasy anymore; he has himself now, so....is this battle just a remnant of the past?) Well, Johnny's not a particularly good actor, but he also thinks he's very personable and socially fluid...despite the reality of him being awkward and off-putting. So he forgets the nuances of this fake character he's created....Somedays, Wu is a girly girl, sometimes a staunch activist dyke-type, sometimes a political activist, sometimes Sarkeesian-lite, etc. The reason he comes across so chaotically is because he's trying on different hats, so to speak, in terms of various stereotyped feminine identities, and oftentimes they clash.....because NONE of them are his real persona.

2) This horror here is pretty much a Beats by Dre ad targeting the residents of Hobbes End from In The Mouth of Madness. Do you read...Sutter Caine? Do you eat....Marlboros and Soylent?

3) Fake girly shot. These are Wu's favorites. He must get such an inverted chub staring at 'em.

4) There's those stinking leather boots Wu thinks go with everything....can you imagine how bad they must smell? The girl is checking Wu for lice and lobotomy scars, and Wu's beatifically communing with God, thanking him for making "her" a beautiful woMAN. I bet this girl did the makeup and fixed Johnny's hair, too. Is this one of the Isometric co-asspatters?

As a woman I thought I should note the use of a very thick belt is to provide the illusion of hips, or to accentuate them from the waist. Wu fails at both and just looks like she is wearing completely inappropriate clothing for a professional speaker...or a professional anything, for that matter.

While I was driving I thought about this a lot (scary, right?) Wu as a speaker would be consider a darling that would pull massive attention if she did a few tweaks.

1. come out as TG. Nothing to be ashamed of, and gives her the leg up to truly represent several "minorities" within gaming development.

2. Focus on equality only. Stop talking about yourself. Those types of speakers are the WORST. I went through half a life time of serious (real) trauma, but I don't like playing that card. I only do when I have to, and it is NOT in my sex trafficking 101 talk. I generally only speak about my experiences if specifically asked to do so for the particular audience, generally those who are working in the field and need a survivor perspective.

3. Wu needs to find a NY& Co. Dress to succeed, not to be ogled. This isn't HS.


I'd say this to Wu directly, but blocked and know she is reading. Please, you crazy lady, stop your lies and you will have an excellent career.

I despise her for all the lies, especially still using Jace footage, but I think with direction she could be better. Too bad she is so narcissistic that she will NEVER listen.

Seems to only be '07 (when Flynt's LJ was started) and '08, which is when Wu got the SRS. You get to see a lot of Frank flirting, references to Flynt flying out to meet Frank's family, (wonder how THAT went down; oh to be a fly on the wall, hmm?) Flynt's thinly-veiled lack of confidence manifesting as over-the-top braggadocio, trying to sound smart about topical Politics, sperging about Heinlein to sound Sci-Fi legit, (incidentally, I'm not familiar too much....Wu claims this author as a favorite....anybody make anything from that? I don't know enough to know what sort of a pose that suggests, but isn't he a pretty old-school, respected Sci-Fi author? I'm more Horror, so what would be the equivalent, just to give me an idea?) and more of that tip-toeing on the edge of the Tranny admission, all drowned in a sea of 100% Natural Female.

My theory: It all goes back to Brianna's warped views on gender. What I think is going on (at least partially) is that Brianna does like playing video games. However, in her autistic worldview, video games are inherently masculine so how can she possibly enjoy them? She feels like she has to change some sort of nonexistent rule that "video games are for men" in order to not question her identity.

Check out Wu tiptoeing right up to the edge of suggesting he can give birth to a child. He seems unusually careful to not actually say anything that directly suggests he could literally pop one out, but...(Don't miss the fat-shaming, either. As Furina said, Wu has NO empathy. He dissects supposed old friends for superficial appearance deficiencies, and wholly ignores the idea that, hey, she just had a kid you asshole, cut her some slack!)

Motherhood: What's the Total Price?

I had coffee with a friend of mine yesterday I hadn't seen since she'd given birth. I was really shaken by the changes to her body and personality.

I had always admired her for her gorgeous skin tone, but she looked like she'd aged a decade. She'd also put on at least 30 pounds, but those things are just the meaningless superficial. What frankly scared me was her dyspeptic and distracted nature. She was a cheerleader in high school, but now she seemed so lifeless and without energy. Where was the woman I have done power yoga with for the last year?

It had been three months since she's had her child - is it normal for the effects of the pregnancy to still be with her so strongly? Do these things go away in time, or are you permanently sacrificing a measure of your youth? What is the true price of choosing to have children?

It seems to me that there is massive social pressure for women to have children. Our mothers ask us for grandchildren, sitcoms revolve around the idea and our closest friends take the journey and seemingly expect us to take it with them. Yet - as I've seen my friends go through this journey, their personalities and priories always change so drastically.

In my opinion, the entire point of feminism is the right to make choices. Yet - it also sometimes seems like motherhood is a part of the feminine journey that many find deeply rewarding. No matter which path you take, it seems like you're going to miss out on some of the rewards life can offer you.

While this is a fair point, there are a couple of reasons she can't do that.

1. She's lied about her status so much that there isn't really a way to do it anymore.
2. Other transgendered people want nothing to do with her and they sure as hell wouldn't want her to speak for them. Wu was banned from transgendered communities for her toxic mindset and frankly insane beliefs like transgendered shouldn't reveal their status to sexual partners.

One thing is for certain. Hillary Clinton's candidacy is about sweet-talking the country to it's knees to felate her selfish, uncaring ego. Here's hoping that she has her disingenuous ASS handed to her in the Pennsylvania primary today by Obama.

It's all but impossible for me to understand why people support her. Experience? It seems to me that Hillary has exactly as much experience as Laura Bush. I think all her talk about "being ready from day one" is just arrogant, narcissistic posturing, par for the Clinton course.

I can't understand why this terrible person is willing to tear the country apart by trying to tweak a win out of the superdelagates - it raises serious questions. Is she really so self-centered that she'd subject the country to another divided presidency? Has she become the very Republican-attack machine that destroyed her? He wrote Starship Troopers in which his utopia is a far right wing (almost Nazi) military democracy, meaning you must have served in the army to have the right to vote, have children and numerous other basic rights. Violence and the ability to fight is the most important skill a person can learn. To quote Heinlein in Starship Troopers:

Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor.

That should give you a gist of his politics.
