What if people just mailed him dead dog pictures because he's a shithead who whines online about dogs? That seems to be the normal internet reaction to shitheads regardless of video games even existing.

We already know that SomethingAwful's FYAD was behind the initial Brianna Wu death threats, and that multiple attacks by GNAA have been done with much the same MO. It is thus entirely logical, and, indeed, reasonable to assume similar parties are involved with this, attempting to provoke another full-blown Wu chimp-out.

And with that said? If this did, indeed happen and isn't just an attempt Wu's shamelessly milking for attention (and if it is, then Wu herself is an asshole of an almost legendary caliber), then allow me to say this:

Fuck those people.

Seriously. Going after someone during a time of tragedy like that has got to be the stupidest, most ween-y bullshit I've seen since the Batman Call.

She doesn't realize getting into a fight with a man who: on his podcast regularly causes non-twitter-teir websites to crash from the traffic, probably knows more about what makes a good game by virtue of working as a critic on youtube for years, has been noted to have and immense dislike of anti-GGers and SJWs in general, and has brought ruination on those indie-devs that have tried to fuck with him. What makes her think that's a good idea?

Ego, plain and simple. She (as well as other SJWs) honestly thinks that her feelings give her the right to dictate what other people are allowed to do and how they should talk.

Kind of off-topic, but that guy (@ItalyGG) is one of my favorite GG spergs and sometimes reaches Homer levels of stupid. I'd take what he says with a pinch of salt.

Doesn't change that SomethingAwful's involvement was confirmed by at least half-a-dozen sources by now, which is what I was getting at.

That said, thatsforubama (and anyone else interested in chiming in, really), what are your thoughts on Wu's ongoing "If you say anything to point out my ignorance, you are mansplaining" thing? I happen to be of the belief that it's making her seem even more hilariously ignorant than I originally thought possible, but there's several people who think it's indicative of a larger issue she might have.
 
I really think it's just a combination of her own ego and tumbler logic. She's been pretty spoiled (or should I say, privileged) all her life thanks to mommy and daddy and likes to surround herself with people that won't disagree with her. She lives in an echo-chamber where her own opinions and ones very similar to he own are able to go relatively unchallenged. This creates a person who can't understand how ignorant they appear and becomes insulted when it's pointed out to them.

Eh I don't know, I think the hilarious shit she says make her one of the few high profile anti-GGers who actually deserves the SJW label, and that she definitely has her place here but that's about it.
On the other hand losing a puppy's not fun, and taunting her over it isn't fucking cool.
 
Part of me wants to think the dog died of improper care, the other part of me believes there is no dog. and way way back in my subconscious do I believe she killed her dog for sympathy.
I really want proof that Crash existed.

Part of me feels bad for her, but another part is very suspicious of the fact that her dog dies right around the time she's getting harassed like this, especially considering I'm not sure if she's mentioned said dog before (maybe I'll check through some of her old stuff).

I wouldn't put it past her to make up a fake dog just to say "Crash is dead. GAMERGATE KILLED HIM!!" I know I'm victim blaming, but confirmation would be nice. I guess I'm no different from those scumbags that want men accused of rape to have due process.
