when you clip a dogs nails it produces a sharp jagged edge that can easily produce cuts like that. remember, their nails are essentially a curved cone think for a second what would happen if you cut the tip off a curved cone? dog's legs don't 'windmill' outside of cartoons and when they are struggling they will use bother set of legs. like i said those cuts would be on the arm she used to try to control the dog (not the one she was holding it with), I've done the exact same thing and it looked like that. have you ever actually cared for a dog?

the bottom three sets of scratches all have parellel marks, one deeper one shallower, like you would expect from a dogs paw. any none parallel marks can easily be explain by her+the dog struggling and trying to avoid getting scratched. also, when a dog scratches and it doesn't penetrate the skin it creates a raised area that looks like a scar. as i mentioned i've gotten a scratched up arm from working dogs that looked like that.

i don't get why you guys are so desperate for this to be self harm. considering no one has given any credible evidence a reasonable application of occams razor would say she picked up a dog, it scratched her a bunch.

Dogs' claws tend to be more like curved, tapered straws, with a hollowness concealing the central blood vessels. The tapering is subtle enough that the tips are proportionally wider than cat claws and the fish-hook sharpness which make them (felines) so much more likely to draw blood.

But its irrelevant. For all your bluster, your defense of Wu lines up with your defense of this story... in exactly the same sort of bias you excuse the doubters of. Frankly, bringing up GG shows you had an axe to grind here.

It's not a coincidence that many of us, with broadly varying degrees of personal, romantic, professional, and even medical experience think the "evidence" doesn't fit the explanation. Ockham's razor is useless here, unless Wu's buddy wants to turn her other arm into more deli singles:

What normal individual takes a photo of their damaged arm to prove the heroism of their actions? Why not just tell the story, maybe with a picture of the...animal? Surely you can see that the very act of photographing the "wound" shows that this special snowflake was looking for pats on the back, right?

I would say occams razor implies all those scratches are self harm. You're the one having to explain away why out of all those scratches none of them are parallel. I looked at google image search and there are some nonparallel scratches but in all the pictures with that many there are parallel clusters and most are in fact in parallel also that's a long time to hold onto a dog if you just gotta move it out of the way.

I don't see a lot of dogs and people getting shoved out of the way of incoming traffic like the movies. Because it doesn't work like that.

• Car wasn't paying attention, dog wasn't paying attention, but hero friend was paying close attention and was aware what was going to happen. Usually people sit there slack jaw and stare at accidents in progress. It's hard to believe what you're seeing.
• Then hero friend moved like the flash but was still able to get tons and tons of scratches spread out across heroself's arms. You have to remember this whole thing had to have taken 3 seconds max.

when i was a kid i worked at a dog kennel. my point about the coned nails was to get you to understand how clipping them produced edges, not be precise about anatomy. i never defended Wu, i said the self harm conspiracies were dumb, read my posts.
