Why are we the only ones who call Wu's arrogance?

Isometric is a shrine to Wu... it's non-stop butt-kissing, and the only topics of discussion are those approved by le Wu, which translates to: lies or exaggerations that make Wu look genius.

I say this with not a shred of facetiousness: the only individual I've seen who is this tone-deaf to how their arrogance and braggadocio comes across is... Kanye Kardashian.

Yes, Wu is that bad. The only difference being that Kanye has a voluminous list of awards and laurels to trumpet, while Wu has...

Earlier today, @GleamingTheQ-Bert was kind enough to give me a general synopsis and link to some of Wu's Isometric Podcasts. If you haven't heard them, do yourself a favor: continue to not listen to them, unless your resistance to Wu's bullshit is at the point where you can wade through it without harm. You will fucking rage with the force of a tactical nuclear device at how ridiculous these fucking things are otherwise.

To put it simply, it is, in five words: DEIFYING BRIANNA WU: THE SHOW. Without any exception or hyperbole, these are the most horrifying, self-serving, ridiculous shit Wu's ever been involved with. No questions occur without Wu's permission being asked; no facts allowed to permeate the echo chamber that is the Wucast. If you want to hear Wu claim she still fears for her life due to Tyce Andrews, blame Gamergate for not being able to learn Blueprint Engine, and hear a never-ending litany of how Revolution 60 was the most influential and successful game for IOS ever you guys, then this is the show for you.

I seriously wonder, given this bit that our noble arcade mascot was kind enough to link me, if Wu doesn't have even bigger problems with delusions of grandeur than we gave credit, Kiwis. There's too much Autism in Isometric for even me to plumb the depths of.
 
:heart-empty:The thing about social media is that it's still clinging to the traditions of the past when it comes to the average person.

Think about, most people were raised to trust and have faith in printed media. Now this trust has been transferred, almost unconsciously, to the new generation of media. The trick is most people do not realize that anyone can start a blog, a podcast or even a "news" site so they read something or hear something and give it the same gravity they gave to an article in the New York Post. Not realizing it just dome hack who has options and a webpage, who done zero research, had zero training and most importantly has zero interest in being impartial.

This phase will pass, already certain sites are seeing a loss in traffic from regular readers and have to restart to click bait style headlines and biased articles to maintain readership levels. As the new generation grows up they understand that media is just media and most certainly not journalism.

It also doesnt help that many of the formerly respected news outlets have chosen to push the identity politics and racial tensions to boost their flagging numbers. Nothing sells better then hatred, bias and racism...

That's a sad commentary on people. :heart-empty:

Yep, as VR becomes more readily available, we could potentially engage in experimental architecture, design next-generation spacecraft, simulate complicated surgery, promote engineering in classrooms, design creative and immersive fantasy worlds to explore...or we could put our ugly fucking faces on social media and bleat about how Samus has a penis.
