It is very easy to get into college. It is basically Highschool 2 these days... and in those days.
 
Flynt got into college, because it's not terribly hard and he has very rich parents that could finance it. Money can do pretty much anything.

In fact, I think his parents disowned him over Flynt squandering their money on half-baked schemes rather than whatever issue he's claiming.

Based on entering UMiss in 1996, John was born around 1978. The Tandy 1000 was first released in 1984, and was sold until 1993.

Of course what was most likely was that it was the family PC, and she got a chance to use it when other family members weren't. That's how most people of Flynt's generation refer to their "first computer."

The new dog's name is rocket. Wu used to posts pictures of him and mention him constantly, but his relevance in Wu's tweets has dwindled significantly. Wu is basically the worst kind of pet owner who buys a cute dog to keep around and talks about it constantly, but when the excitement of a new dog wears off she more or less ignores it's existence until she either thinks she can use him to get something or until he's near death.
