It's actually a quote from left-wing historian Howard Zinn. Why am I not surprised that Wu didn't get the reference?

I actually like Howard Zinn and I tried to re-interpret it as coming from him, but nope, sorry. It's still a dumb statement and makes no sense.

You can be neutral on a train, a plain, an automobile, a fucking zeppelin, or some flapping ornithopter based on Leonardo da Vinci's drawings.

Maybe it's trying to say that you need to pick a side in times of turmoil? If you don't you're gonna end up being pushed around? I'm just making wild guess here. Although choosing to not to take sides is considered making a stand. And speaking literally, you can be neutral on a moving train, you just need a good grip.

I think the point is that it's wrong to be neutral while horrible injustices are occurring.

This automatically frames the debate as one where there's obviously a good and a bad side, though.

Suppose you think both sides are a bunch of stupid cocksuckers.

That's an entirely reasonable position to take when the issue is goobergrape.

Wu... Does know that they're having a neutral voice after and then a pro voice after that, right?

Because if not this is going to be fucking amazing.

I really would like to know if ANYONE in the mainstream media even gives a shit about #GamerGate anymore. I did a quick search for it in Google News and literally all I get is bullshit articles from SJW rags. I know I'm late on this but damn, John, this is some blue arms tier shit.

The issue here is that Wu WANTS mainstream exposure again. It made his ass relevant, and now that his gravy train is petering out, he needs more attention since he knows R60 coming out will ruin him, so if he can delay that by getting more mainstream attention again, it keeps his sympathy and Patreon money going.

This is on Wu's Amazon wish list, no wonder he needs a major cash boost, look at the price:

It kind of ran its course. It won already:

Gamergate did what it set out to do. It's enforced public disclosure, gotten the FTC to mandate that Native Advertising must be disclosed, and pretty much forevermore changed discussion of journalistic ethics online. It inspired movements similar to it to resist the SJW menace as well, leading to one of the most odious groups on the internet in recent memory finally getting a well-deserved black eye for the bullshit it's brought about. With Gamergate a watchdog now, there's nothing to be gained by dealing with any of the usual suspects, and they've systemically been denied the ability to run on Gamergate as "OMG SUCH HARASSMENT." The SPJ Airplay incident pretty much dragged that particular meme behind the shed and shot it in the head repeatedly.

Polygon's stopped pushing the harassment narrative. The Huffington Post is to hear from neutral and Pro-GG voices after interviewing Wu today. The narrative, officially, is as dead. With that comes the terrifying realization that Brianna Wu can no longer run on the controversy, and the stuff she claimed was ever so relevant to the public discourse provably wasn't.

Has anyone listened to the HuffPost interview yet? Brianna's voice is nails on a chalkboard to me and I was curious about the number of lies she was allowed to tell without any response.

I know this is going to sound terribly autistic, but please tell me I'm not the only one that notices that controller doesn't have two joysticks.

There's only one Playstation I remember off the top of my head that has a version of the controller with the D-Pad only, and that's the PS1. It just feels weird coming from a discussion about games in 2015.
