Jezebel and MarySue. That's some mighty respectable and trustworthy sites whose writers don't have issues with men at all. Never heard of "Boing Boing" but going by its name and its juxtaposition with legends like Jezebel and MarySure, it doesn't inspire much confidence. Oh well, must be my soggy knees.

And apparently no feminist media existed 15 years ago. Right, so even though feminism exists since about 1850 or 1900 (depending on when you begin to count) during atleast 100 years between 1900 and 2000 and despite the movement's huge popularity at least with some segments of the population, no one came up with the idea of creating feminist media. You don't even have to look for counter-examples to debunk Wu's bullshit, just examining the statement is enough.

7. Ironic how you're complaining about "Damsel In Distress".... even though your game actually has that lol

That is funny. Especially considering what her logic must've been in employing this somewhat tired plot device. If the logic was that it's "OK because a woman saves the damsel", that goes against the common beliefs of SJWs trying to ruin games these days (the very crowd she wishes to further ingratiate herself with!), where the damsel trope is always bad. Sounds a bit like some mansplainin' going on up in here!

I'm pretty sure the prosecutor is happy to get threatened and tried to be shamed by a crazy tranny and shitty pseudo feminist web tabloids. I'm sure he is going to look at your case to help you in any way he can.

Wu is truly a unapologetic scumbag. Shame for the idiots that still give her a time (hey Patrick Klepeck, you sure know how to choose friends).

The only reason Holiday's design is being changed is because her old outfit is a fucking palette-swap of Miranda Lawson's.

As for this bit of info that the Steam version of Revolution 60 is coming?

WE ARE WAITING, WU.

I'm so happy Klepek is over at kotaku. He truly deserves to be there.

By the way, wasn't Brianna one of the people complaining about the lack of diversity at Giant Bomb?

I so can't wait for the cracked releases of the Steam version, the porn parodies, and even better, the mods that make the game look and play much better than the original, all of that would produce so much beautiful salt.

She was. Patrick reached her and was diplomatic. Made Jeff writte a "statement" about GB position on 'harassment'. Wu bitched out in NeoGaf because Jeff wrote that he felt there were also bad elements in the anti-gg.

Patrick still goes to panels with her

Wu's on NeoGAF?

Shit, @KidKitty wasn't kidding. Almost everything stupid in video games ties to that fucking cesspool.

I think it's a thing where everyone who is in this with GAF, Kotaku, Wu, etc have a favors for favors thing going. "You ignore my past misdeeds and scams and I won't let people post your dirty laundry on my site". That's why they all seem connected, they united loosely over time as an "us vs them" reaction to having their shit aired by irate gamers. In the same way that, for example, the RunningWithScissors (makers of Postal) devs have come out in support of GamerGaters, GAF and Kotaku and RPS are clinging to each other because they know if one of them goes down, they lose an ally.

I suppose it would have been too far to point out that Wu is one of the worst of those bad elements.

1. These are all games that you bought and own, not the entirety of current gen games that have been released.

2. There's a difference between "It blew up because it's a movie" and "It blew up because I made it blow up". It's part of the whole "interactive media vs. non-interactive media". Also, see attatched below.

3. What area is that? The freemium game or was it Shovelware?

Disney infinity has some kind of Deathmatch gameplay, also almost all the games that are not "violent" is just DJ Hero/Guitar Hero/Just Dance

also she has Catherine, a game that in theory should trigger her because >sexualization

and someone should remind her that in R60 you kill people/robots/whateverthefuckthatshitis, you dont finish the game with hugs and "Emotions"

I hope you'll appreciate that we want to innovate in an area gamedev has largely ignored

i will not appreciate it because i know you are not going to do shit, you cant even do a megaman battle network/Mass effect ripoff right

edit: Imperator Brianna Wu, now she want to ruin Warhammer 40k?

This is just flat out fucking dumb. The video game industry is "stuck" making what PEOPLE ACTUALLY BUY. Much wisdom. :wow:

1. CH3CH2OH summed it up. These are just games Wu bought. They aren't representive of all the games that were released. Even then, it's not like all the modern games out there put violence as a primary mechanic. Not when you have games that encourage pacifism if one wanted the best ending.

2. the Transformer movie sucked because they weren't like how the old school fans wanted them to be. Michael Bay wrote the script if I recall correctly.

Not only that, not many people would get any sort of attachment for the characters in R60.

Thank goodness we have brianna wu who makes story driven games with strong character development, RTS games that focus on creating a society that balances the needs of everyone with the goal of eliminating want, hate, jealousy and avarice. And shame on those in gamergate who forced her to buy and play those games in red at gunpoint, will their reign of terror ever end? What is next, forcing her to sustain herself on a diet based upon pseudoscience ?

Ohio Prosecution Office said:
A police report or investigation as to Brianna Wu has not been filed or referred to this office. That is the normal method to report a crime, cause an investigation or seek a prosecution. Brianna Wu has had no contact with anyone in this office or the cyber stalking unit of the city prosecutors office. Brianna Wu has not provided any evidence to this office, including any tapes of phone calls allegedly received. Brianna Wu stated online that the alleged caller could be identified if a subpoena was merely issued yet a cell, landline or phone number is not in possession of this office for that purpose; and the proper method to accomplish that is through law enforcement not online posts.

The local FBI office has referred nothing to this office regarding Wu nor contacted us indicating they intend to do so. For unknown reasons Brianna Wu chose to post something online regarding such threats stating they came from Columbus and it was within our authority. Yet she has never had contact of any kind or nature with this office. As a result, this office received a number of emails and phone calls that wasted time and resources to respond to concerned persons who apparently observed these postings.

<pedantic sperging>What exactly is her metric for determining whether or not a game is considered "violent"? I can think of a lot of examples that could fall either way. Portal, for example, is technically a puzzle game, but you ultimately gain victory by performing acts of violence, albeit against a non-human entity. Pokemon, on the other hand, while containing combat between Pokemon, focuses on positive themes of teamwork, cooperation, and caring for others. What about games such as visual novels, where violence may be described but has no mechanical representation? What about Sims games, where a non-violent system is frequently perverted by the players? If Brianna Wu wants to make a definitive statement about the gaming industry, she should be more clear about what she's actually saying. After all, someone with such a major voice wouldn't want to be misinterpreted. </pedantic sperging>

Plus, like you said, it's just the games that she owns, not all the games in existence. Fuck, I've never bought a sports game in my life, does that mean they don't exist?
